Introduction
When i finally get trough, my teammates will probably change the way the see Evelynn. I always get good games with her. I might not win, but the stats are always in plus, not minus. So if you want to learn how i play her, read this guide, it will hopefully be very helpfull.
For the runes i take Magic penetration marks, flat armor seals, flat magic resist glyphs and attack speed quintessence, you might switch it for either magic penetration or armor penetration. But i would choose attack speed.
The reason for my picks, is you will not die in 1 hit. If i play her AP, i die very quickly in team fights, mainly because i do not have any armor or magic resist. The flat armor and magic resist runes really help overcome that problem.

In the masteries, i also go for the defense tree mainly. Get the armor and magic resist and the health. On the utility tree, get the mana per lvl increase. Evelynn can have slightly mana problems early on, but late game it won't really be a problem. On the offense tree i just take all the AP stuff and stop at the 10% magic penetration.
I find these masteries the best, but there is no rule. If you don't like it, don't use it.

I start off with boots and 3 health pots. You can stay in lane for a long time. Then i buy Malady. If i get a very good farm, i buy wits end before i get shoes. After wits end, i buy sorceres shoes. Now i get madreds bloodrazor. After that i get the Sheen, and build it into Trinity force. Now, the game is most probably finished, but if it isn't, buy the Hextech gunblade. It gives you both AP and AD, lifesteal and spellvamp. It really is a fantastic item to finish off with, and with it's passive, you get an extra 300 damage.
As you might have seen already, the build is based on on-hit effect items. Therefore, i choose to get Hate spike first. It's the best in my opinion. But get lvl 2 in Shadow walk fairly quick. The 10 extra seconds makes a really big difference in ganks and when scouting. Always lvl the ultimate when possible, the ultimate on Evelynn is really great for both chasing and escaping. Usually, i lvl Shadow walk after Hate spike, mainly because Ravage won't be such a big help when you don't but so much AP.
