Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hello Summoners this guide is on Riven the Exile. Riven is a great Solo top champion. I use Riven as my Solo top champion because she has great mobility and has good attack damage(AD). Her Q is used to damage enemy's or to get away from enemy's. Riven's W is a stun which really helps aid your allies. Riven's E gives her a small barrier and she also dashes a short distance away or to anything. Riven's R can be used to initiate or can be used to finish off the kill. Please make a comment about this guide, tell me what I need to change to make it better. These are some reasons why I use Riven the Exile...
I usually use flash and ignite on Riven. I would also use barrier for solo top because it gives some extra health in a way and with the high mobility from Riven she can use barrier and the E to get out of there. Those 3 Spells are the only Spells I would use on Riven. You should always have flash though because that Spell helps you get away from enemy forces.
Your Farming with Riven should be around 150-200 minions a game because Riven has no mana so you can spam your moves like crazy. Your Q is a great farming move because it does damage to all the creeps around you and your W is a stun which hits all the creeps around you.
For me Riven is a Bruiser, so i build mainly AD but I also get health items. I always get a The Brutalizer first. Later I upgrade the The Brutalizer into a The Black Cleaver for the cool down reduction, attack damage, critical strike chance, and for the unique passive. The boots I get are the Ionian Boots of Lucidity for the cool down reduction. After I've finished building the The Black Cleaver, I get the The Bloodthirster for the AD and for the life steal. After the The Bloodthirster, I get a Frozen Mallet for the health and for the little bit of AD. After the Frozen Mallet, I get an Infinity Edge for the major AD. Lastly but not least I get the Guardian Angel for the armor and extra life.
I am always talking to my teammates to make sure we have good teamwork. Talk to your teammates and tell them that your going to do this or you need their help to take dragon, so just tell them what your doing. Always communicate with your teammates because it helps your team be a good team. If the other team is talking and your not then you will probably lose. Communicating is key for this game. Teamwork is the most Important thing in League of Legends.
For runes and masteries I get mainly AD things for Riven because that's what she needs most. Runes I get mostly AD but I also get cooldown reduction runes and I get a little bit of health runes. For masteries I get mainly offensive masteries but a little, tiny bit of defense and utility masteries. I use 21 levels on offense, 6 levels on defense, and 3 levels on utility masteries.
When going through the Jungle
When I'm going through the jungle I get little camps along the way. Every minion counts, so I get camps through the jungle like the wraiths or wolves. Unless I have to rush to get to where my team needs me then I take my time getting camps along the way.
Pros / Cons
-High Mobility -Cool Down Dependent
-No Mana -Needs good timing on her skills to be successful
-Damaging AOE stun -A bad start is hard to comeback from

Please give me advice on how to make this guide better because I want it to be the best Riven guide out in mobafire. Thanks.....Friermerk!
