Introduction

Hi! my name is Bruukz and this will be my first LoL guide on how I play Fizz. I personally believe him to be a burst caster as he scales tremendously, and can very quickly if not intantly kill anything not stacking HP & MR. If people start using this guide frequently i feel fizz is going to get some hard nerfs so try not to make people run to the forums & be nice ffs!I know this build lacks in the defense area, but the idea is to get end game damage fast seeing as properly played fizz is very strong at escaping.

Runes

I went with some magic pen red because derp magic pen r good for mage.

the mana regen yellow is a must imo, Fizz has serious issues here even with the sapphire to start.

threw some straight AP into blue to min max with the burst.

Heath quints help a ton early game, because all your damage is mele range.

Masteries

I put points in what i consider to be the new burst caster masteries. Personally tend to lean in the direction of lots of MR so i took the MR in defense and then mp5 in support.

Skill Sequence/Usage

Some of you may be curious as to why I level Q first when his E is so good for farming and burst. This is simple if you use it for damage you go out of mana, also having this on cd no matter how short that cd is will leave you very vulnerable. W second it helps with last hits and is very good harass.

Land your ult then QUICKLY press W THEN Q in, land a few attacks and ignite, on any target below 75% health I find this kills them.

In a team fight try and save your ult for maximum area damage potential unless you can land it for sure on a squishy/near them

Items

Fizz has very nice base AD damage so i found getting a sheen first is well worth it, you can almost guarantee immediate lane dominance. I try very hard not to go back before i can purchase sheen (860) to finish AND boots + another 350 = *1210*, do not try to hard tho as vs some champions you will die very fast.

The kage's pick is very nice because fizz is pretty hard to farm with vs anything with a hard cc, also your time in lane pretty much ends at level 12-14 ish.

Death cap ASAP by the time you have this item things start to look grim for the other team.

Lich bane is only worth it after your death cap before it and you were better off with a sheen damage wise, but after and your looking at gaining loads more damage to your Q

Morello's will increase the speed at which you remove champions from a team fight or just plain killing them, I like this item very much. Alternatively if you really need to stomp a team just grab a mejai's soul stealer and start stacking.

Banshees is a great item at this stage of the game because you will be a very very high priority CC target, this item makes nobody want to waste a CD on you and play very passively. even tho Fizz has a dodge there are potentially 5 hard CC's on the other team, this build makes fizz very frail and you need to get away very fast sometimes.

Abyssal scepter adds some much needed magic resist and magic pen to your team as well as you. I prioritize magic resist because it gives you the option to destroy their AD range and proceed to kill the mages with cc later.

Summoner Spells

Ghost is very nice for closing gaps and saving your ***

Ignite will be used to make sure nobody gets away and also to give you slight ad/ap buff.

I suppose if you really wanted to flash could replace ghost but i find it to be degrading to the game and choose not to support it in any way.

Team Fights

Get in fast and get out faster, do this a few times to the main threats to your team and you will be MVP. target the AD carry first, if your team is losing the team fights and you die taking 1 or 2 targets down with you its never completely your fault.

Pros / Cons

-Fizz has amazing burst that beats leblanc's
-very fun
-ult is just way to cool and needs to have its coolness nerfed not its damage.


-very squishy
-cooldown dependant like lux (with this build)
-sounds like kennen and i dont like that hamster ninja
