I'd recommend u take a look at your runes, if u switch 1 of your AP quints into 26 health and then change the glyphs to flat AP you've gained some stats, just a suggestion. Overall I like the idea cause I've tried AP shen myself.
Maybe consider getting a wits vs an ap lane just for the MR + to give more effect on your passive. And perhaps a Sunfire vs a strong ad team. These are just suggestions and maybe they dont fit your playstyle so feel free to ignore.

I like the idea,but I don't quite like your magic resist.+1,but try to maximize magic resist as much as possible,30 is poor amount for tanky champ.

I think you need to go a little more in depth when explaining things, but i'll +1 because the guide shows potential, and the item choices are good in my opinion.
