Threats to Master Yi with this build
|Tryndamere||Trynd is only dangerous if you're not smart, if you just kite him when he ults you'll be fine and with your ult his slow won't affect you. And you can always use your Q to dodge attacks.|
Hello and welcome to this Build, I find this particular builds to be one of the most fun in all of league and I hope you can enjoy it too.
Now you might me wondering why so much AD on the runes and not attack speed or crit? Well I'll tell you. Because with this AD it will make early fights and Jungle clear much easier. And the armor seals make it so you take less damage from the jungle camps so your jungle clears are more effective. And the MR glyphs? Well it will make your fights with other champs who do magic damage.
5 points in fury for the extra attack speed for fighting and jungling. 1 point in double edged sword to increase your damage. 5 points in vampirism for some extra lifesteal to make your jungling and fights more effective. Oppressor for when you're fighting someone whos being affected by CC. Battering Blows for Armor Pen to make you do more damage to tanks. And Fervor of Battle to make you do more damage to champs as the fights drag on. Savagery to make you do more damage to monsters making jungling easier. Assassin to make you do more damage when you're alone. Merciless for fighting enemies who are low. And dangerous game to help you continue fighting or to survive the after math of your fight.
I like to start off with Hunter's Machete and 3 health pots. Then I like to stay in the jungle doing my rotations until i have enough money for Devourer. Then while sating it I start ganking with my ult. Then I build Shiv, Edge, and then Dancer for crit chance, damgage, and some attack speed. Then blood thirster for lifesteal to make fighting more effective and making it so you can fight longer and split push more effective. Then I build Trinity Force or Essence Reaver to max out Crit chance and add some extra damage. Both are viable options and is personal opinion on which to get. Personally i like Tri Force, but essence reaver when I want CD reduction and mana.
Youre Jungle so you need smite. And i take smite for gap closing and escapes. You could take ghost but i find flash more effective.
Pros And Cons
Pros: High Damage, Fast Clear, Great Split Pushing, Fast.
Cons: Can be squishy, need to use your w wisely for heal and damage reduction, you might get focused.
I start bottom lane so my top can do their thing. I get gromp or krugs then go on to the blue/red buff. Then I get Scuttle for gold and extra health. Then I take wolves/raptors then go to the other side of the jungle and work my way across. Make sure to keep krugs because its free gold and a free ward. Also when you get devourer its 2 stacks. Once you get ult and red smite you can start making good ganks. Try to get devourer stated as fast you can by taking epic monsters.
Make sure to gank. If your top is having a hard time gank top when you can. Same if its with bot or mid. IF your lanes are doing well just farm and get drags and Harolds. Eventually you can start picking off champs on their team or start split pushing. You are semi useful in team fights because of your high dps but if you get CC'd super hard you might be in trouble. Use your Q to dodge abilties and w to heal or reduce damage. Make sure to press E when you start to fight for that extra true damage. At full build when you ult you'll have close to 2.5 attack speed so you'll be able to split really effective. To the point that you can take a tower within 8 seconds.
Have Fun. Just do what makes you happy. Remember that counter pick doesn't matter if you play well enough. So play champs that you enjoy playing. If you like this build play this build. If you like full AP Yorick do that. Just do you.
