Well hello there, this is my first guide on GP and i just wanted to say i am an expert on gangplank and i dont care what you say but my ranked stats speak for themselves. Please be nice on another note =D.




GangPlank

Gangplank is an early game champ along with a ridiculous carry late game. This play style is pure DPS. Gangplank is an completely item-dependent character, without good items well, lets just say you will not be invited to anymore games with your "friends". His play-style should be very aggresive early game trying to get as many kills as possible, you should use your Parrrley to her*** and last hit as often as possible along with your Remove Scurvy to stay in lane for as long as possible. Your Raise-Moral should be used to take done turrets, go for kills, getting away and so on, no need to use of minions for its mana cost is not worth it. His ultimate Cannon Barrage has many different uses. One, it is very good at helping your team, getting assists or finishing the deed. Second, it is one of the best kill stealing method since you dont have to be near them, lets say you see and duel between 2 players, place your cannons on top of them and the minimun you will get is an assist. Three, great for scouting if you have a very strong feeling there at baron or dragon etc etc.


The Epic Build

You want to start of with brawlers gloves and 2 health potions, trust me when i say that your pure crit runes with a brawlers gloves will make you overpowered early game, this is when i usually get fed, like a boss =D. The phantom dancer will give extra crit while helping with attack and movement speed, great for kills and getting away, even though i dont think you will need to for that. Infinity edge again for the crit damage bonus, crit chance and some nice damage increase, you should buy it in this order, cloak of agility, then B.F. sword and then pickaxe along with the final Infinity edge. Build a trinity force after that for the overall epic stats and the sheen bonus, this will make your parrley hit double, EVEN WHEN YOU CRIT! After a bloodthirster would do you well but if the enemy team is stacking up armour you should go for the Last Whisper before the bloodthirster.

Laneing

Laning with Gangplank is quite simply, all i want to say in this section is never to lane against tanks, never. They will eat up your pistol shots. Laneing against squishys would be your best bet.
