First thing to get out of the way:

They took out crit-chance per level. Therefore, crit chance runes (in replace of my crit-damage) and a third alvarice blade has been added to my build.

In the last patch they buffed the gold received from last hits with your Parley.

Raise moral doesnt buff attack speed, but attack damage. This will fill the void of my crit-damage runes.

Early game:

First pick up your brawler’s knuckles and two potions. Because of your mana-regen seals, you wont need to pick up a mana pot.

DON’T HARASS WITH PARLEY. Gangplank is not an early game hero, and your shots are laughable early game. Its far more beneficial to last hit creeps. The additional gold starts out at 4gold per kill. This will increase by 3 gold per level. Finally reaching 16 at level 5.

Save some mana when you reach level 2. Quickly level raise moral, and deny the tank creeps. This gives you and your lane partner damage and denies your opponent gold and experience. Deny every tank every third wave. If your lane partner has a mana manipulator, clarity, or is Soraka, and is effectively supplying you with mana; deny as much as possible. Keep in mind that last hitting with parley is far more important.

When you get 1100 gold. Teleport back to town (after you clear a wave of enemy creeps) and buy your two alvarice blades. Use your teleport skill to hurry back or go to mid to allow that person to shop. From levels 1-11 you always want to be generating experience. If you lane with someone who can take down creeps fast (heimer, sivir, mundo…) then you can allow him to solo defend he tower and go jungle. If you do decide to jungle, make sure to last hit with parley as much as possible. If you’re about to auto attack last hit and your parley is on cd, just run in circles for a couple seconds then parley it. The extra gold is worth the wait.

Your next teleport back you should buy attack speed boots and a third Alvarice. At this point, you should have +36%crit just from items.

Mid game:
Keep an eye on the map! Having both teleport and a global ult at your disposal, the whole arena is your oyster.

In team fights, you should not run in and auto attack. Instead, you should hang in the back and shoot people. If you’re far enough in the build that you have at least a zeal, you can flash past the whole group and take out the runners. Because you have the zeal, you can easily get away from those who change their focus to you.

Be sure to use riase morale to buff your teammates.

Late game:
After you finish your phantom dancer, you should be a dodge tank/crit master. At this point, you can effectively full on attack people in team fights. Your raise moral and ult should keep your team on top. Time your ult a couple seconds after the fight starts. Making the other team fight in the ult, or run away. Most of the time half of them try to run. Making them easy targets for your frozen mallet.

If the game lasts long enough to finish the build and they still have towers. Grab a heavy dps and start backdooring towers. You should tank them because of your health/armor. Worst case scenario, you will be caught and you’ll need to ult/run away. This will be easy for you because of your flash and movement speed. If they sun you, eat fruit and laugh as you get away.

If you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer them.

I personally believe the new buff makes gangplank overpowered and don’t feel that it will last before Season1 starts.

Will update this soon…
