Okay guys, this is my first build, I have been doing very well recently with this build I have created and would like to share it with you.
For runes I take, 3 attack speed quintessences, 9 flat ad marks, 9 flat armour seals and 9 magic resist/level glyphs. Taking this set-up gives you extremely early level burst and also means that you can tank quite a lot of damage from the start.
These items are meant to give you high burst and sustain throughout the match, I start with a Wriggle's Lantern because it gives you the lifesteal, damage and armour that you need on Gankplank. I take Berserker's Greaves over boots of lucidity because I find that Gankplank needs to be right in the middle of the fight, covering his team and making sure he deals a TON of damage as opposed to standing back and spamming parley, lucidity is an effective alternative, it really depends on your playstyle. Trinity Force one of the most important items for Gankplank, getting a Trinity Force gives parley HUGE damage and it gives you bonus movement speed with a slow, this is really effective for poking the enemy with during the laning phase. By the time you have started your Infinity Edge you are really looking to be roaming and teamfighting, you get massive damage and pick off the squishy champions relatively easily. If you are up to the stage where you are building your Atmogs it is gg, these items make Gankplank very durable and give him even more damage. The potions are really just something to spend your money on when the build is complete.
I take Exhaust and Ghost for my summoners because it gives high chasing potential and allows you to play very aggressively in teamfights because you can simply tag their most damaging playing with exhaust and nuke them down. Some alternative spells you could use are, teleport, ignite and flash. These are okay alternatives, teleport because you can give your team insane amounts of support by teleporting into a teamfight or down the map for dragon. Ignite is another useful spell, you would want to take this spell against player that have strong healing spells, Warwick is a prime example of where you could use it and cripple him completly. Flash is simply down to preference, I have chosen ghost because of the nerf to flash in the previous patch.
This build is all centred around HUGE continuous damage, in teamfights you want to always dive onto the highest priority player and nuke them down as soon as you can, another important thing todo as Gankplank is eat the cc, for example if Morgana comes in to your team with her ultimate up, you're gunna want to wait until it stuns then use remove scurvy, this will example you to take her down and save your team from all dying to her extreme damage and cc.
