don't build garen as a strait tank. It totally takes away from how good he is.

Really don't like your item sequence or reasoning for them, Thornmail is pretty much strictly inferior to Sunfire Cape on Garen, and as with almost all tanks, is an item you buy to counter specific champions, and shouldn't be a core item. Sunfire on the other hand give health to improve garen's massive, and gives aoe that stacks with his spin damage. The build ends with warden's mail, I assume you meant randouin's omen. Either way I would prefer a force of nature at this point to get more health regen and to find some magic resist that the build is sorely lacking. As for summoner spells, Ghost seems necessary. Garen is naturally fast, and ghost takes advantage of this fact. (another reason to get force of nature). Your runes don't add up to 9, and aren't constructed as different options. There aren't even nine glyphs on the list. The masteryies are explained to be "good for ganks", I'm a little confused by this. I guess its because the masteries are your only damage? I'm going to downvote, but I suggest either changing or addressing the issues I posted above.
