Garen - Demacian Carry Introduction
Hey there. This is my first guide, but this works really well for me, every game I'm in using this I always carry my team!
Okay so.. When you play garen with this guide, You shall not go back alot to your base. Just stay back if you get low and regenerate it with your passive. Tho if you get more than like 1000-2000 gold you can go back your first time.
So try it out and don't hesitate to comment positive or negative comments. Aslong as they can help the guide ;)
I picked armor penetration marks because that will make you an even better harasses same goes for the armor penetration quints.
The armor seals helps you as you can take more damage which results in you harassing more and surviving easier. The magic resist per level glyphs does the same thing as armor seals tho it's to help you survive against the annoying AP players hehe.
Okay so for the mastery tree. I picked the 21/9/0 because that makes you a scary carry since you go almost allout damage. But the 9 in defense still helps you against the other players so that you'll just rofl stomp them with your dmg while they doesn't understand what's going on. ;)
Decisive strike, silence them and Judgement them to low health! If you get a little harrassed just use Courage and laugh at them. Demacian Justice works wonders on tanks that get to just a little below half their health if they have alot of max health. Since the more health they have lost the more damage Demacian Justice does to them. ;)
Okay so I picked heal because it is actually possible to get low sometimes. That's when you use it! So you'll be able to stay some more and Judgement them! :)
Ghost is for the fleeing or hunting part. Decisive Strike + Ghost. You're gone in no time.
Pros / Cons
1. Does alot of damage
2. Can flee quickly if needed.
3. Can get your health up if needed.
4. Takes alot less damage than other carries.
1. Takes alot more damage than a tanky garen which is almost immortal.
2. If you get stunned/Slowed alot and you're alone vs 4-5 you're almost as good as dead.
I actually can't come up with anymore cons. :P
Garen is a wonderful team player. He can engage a fight without being as worried as most carries. If you engage the fight you'll most likely get focused but that doesn't matter becasue your team will be damagin them faster than you'll die hopefully, tho if you get low you just heal and ghost+spin away. When they stopped the focus on you becasue you fled, you might aswell get back into the fight since you will probably be one of the highest damage dealers in the team. But don't get caught dying because of that.
In the beginning when you're laning with someone or solo, you should harrass the enemy as much as you can with judgement and they wont be as good as you and your lane mate later game.
You should try to get someone with a slow on your lane then the enemies wont stand a chance if your slower is ashe for example you two will just nuke them down. Get fed and win.
Well I can't say it's alot different than other guides. But i've tried some that have exhaust and flash and stuff like that. It just wont work for me, the heal works so much better, red buff+ghost instead of exhaust and flash. So it's just better in my opinion.
You can farm ALOT with garen since he has his Judement. But be careful don't use it all the time on minions, if there's enemies lurking in the brush they're probably waiting for you to waste the Judgement on minions so that they got you under control. So aslong as you know you wont be going into a fight just after the minion kills. You can use judgement on minions and get a very nice farm ;).
Garen does alot on autoattacks too since he got his crit so just last hit as well. Not only Judgement.
