First off, I play Sion very offensive, if you like to play him as a tank or whatever, dont go on reading.
In this Guide you will see that Sion is able to deal TONS of damage.
With the right Build and the right tricks Sion is almost invincible.

So lets get started... :)

Your Runes should ease early game as much as possible, for example if you are solo top:

Marks of Desolation: For more damage dealt
Seals of Resilience: For not getting to much damage early game
Glyphs of Malice: For a better chance to CritHit
Quintessences of Malice: For a better chance to CritHit

As I play Sion very offensive, my Masteries are offensive too:
Most important:

- Critical Chance/Dmg
- Attack Speed
- Life Steal

Less important:

- Ability Power

Based on:

1. Attack Speed
2. Critical Chance/Dmg
3. Life Steal

AD Sion needs his Q as to harass or open a team fight !(ONLY RANGED SKILL)!

AD Sion does not need his W as he 1-hits every Minion after purchasing Infinity Edge

AD Sion needs his E more than every other skill:

- Huge added Damage
- With Life Steal no disadvantage

AD Sion wins every 1on1 cause of his R: When activating R Sion's:

- Life Steal increases drastically
- His Attack Speed increases drastically

You can use what you want, I prefer:

Ignite: Extra Damage over time
Flash: Fast Escaping out of Fights

Early Game

In Early Game harassing with Sion is pretty tough as you have only 1 ranged skill.
So try to let enemies close to your turret and if they start attaking you just stun them and let the turret do the work. Otherwise if your playing more offensively you could use Cryptic Gaze to stun them, then land a hit, and run away. If you do this a few times, you will see the damage output is great.
After skilling Enrage you have got to focus on getting as much last hits as possible, to stack up your life to the max.

Mid Game

In Mid Game Cannbalism is your ensurance of survival.
If you are getting ganked by someone, Sion is not the greatest escaper.
You can use Cryptic Gaze to stun 1 enemy but nothing else.
With Cannbalism you can land a Counter-Gank.
Your Life-Steal and your Attackspeed are increased by 50% which allowes you to survive an attack if you fight back.

Small Hint

Try to jungle with Sion when you are low on health after reaching Level 6 Cannbalism refills your life entirely and you have either red, or blue buff.
Ganking with Sion is almost impossible, cause you have only 1 small stun and not enough time to deal as much damage as you need to.

Late/End Game

This is where you recognize AD Sion is worth it. In every team fight Sion should be focused, cause he tanks massively and Cannbalism lets him survive easily.
He can be a great support for the team though, or he could just deal all the damage that is needed.
Try not to play him passively or anything like that, if you are brave enough start a teamfight, and you will see, that if your team supports you, you can be a true Teamfight-Hero

AD Sion is a different from Sions usual role as a tank, but that does not mean that AD Sion is bad. Quite the Opposite:

- AD Sion is dealing TONS of damage
- AD Sion is adaptable to almost every Situation
- AD Sion ist great to play with in a team
