Skill Sequence

Maxing up your Q first, let's you have an easy way of clearing up the cs waves and it does some serious damage to enemies. After your Q is maxed, go with your E next and put the W at last. Why your W at last place? Because you only use it as a stun and slow and a little shield source in the beginning.

Farming

How you farm is always up to you, I can only give advice on how to maybe get a higher creep score or how to farm easier.

I mostly stand before the first allied minion and throw my Q into the upcoming lane. That way I can easily go around and one hit them. Early game you need 2 hits for the range creeps and 3 for the melee creeps. In mid to late game, throwing a Q in the wave is enough to kill the ranged creeps and one hit the melee ones.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
- easy farming with your Q
- a ton of damage when the mechanics are used well
- an OP Ultimate which deals great damage but also heals you enough to tilt your enemies
- easy to learn how to use the mechanics and master them well
- pro escapes by using your E to dash forward and your Q to slow the enemies and maybe get a Z-Drive movement boost

Cons:
- farming get's pretty hard against range champions sometimes, especially when starting to play and learn Ekko

Summary

All in all is Ekko fun to play and easy to learn.
You can do some serious pro-looking plays sometimes because of his Q, E and R
His Z-Drive lets you handle close situations, like getting ganked or tower diving pretty well because the movement boost lets you get away more easier than usual.
