Introduction

Hey guys, this will be a HOPEFULLY a great guide to an op Morgana. Morgana is a great champ, her utility is just too great to even get your mind around. Unlike some other mages such as Brand, Morgana has a fairly high defense ratio. This is my first guide so bare with it and i'l probs update it regularly ^^

Runes

Simple enough, not much to say. Typical to build her ap and get through some of that magic resist while enabling her to stay in lane longer with that extra defense.

Masteries

Again simple enough for an ap offensive mage. Most ap mages would go for utility for their final 9 points but because Morgana has natural "ok" defense you might as well build on it. Morgana can attack from range mostly but her R will need her to be in the middle of the fight so just stick with the defense

Items

Ah yes Items. I start with two Doran's Rings because they offer the best for Morgana. The combination of both rings gives you a great 120 HP, 30 AP, 6 Mana Regan and that passive is not to bad (Certainly takes care of that mana problem) The rings are great, they offer a good start for Morgana. Next I would go for the Sorcerer's Shoes- Alacrity. Many people just go with the Sorcerer's Shoes for the nice 15 Magic Pen but the extra 20 Movement Speed is just too good to pass up on. As Morgana I personally find myself run forward and back, chasing other champs down just so I can get a Q in to finish them off. As well as running away myself so I don't die xD It's up to you if you think it's worth the extra 475 gold but I personally would. My second Item (Or third depending on your point of view) would be the Wooglet's Witchcap. This item is a MUST for Morgana, it massively increases her AP and gives her a nice 45 armor on top but to be honest, it's the active that makes me buy this. Invaluable and untargetable for 2.5 seconds...mhm I wonder what that can be used for...HER R OF COURSE. In the middle of a team fight swarmed with opponent champs and you just pressed your R...omg what you going to do, they are all trying to take you down...PRESS THAT CAP and bam they can't touch you. By the time the cap has worn off your R has hit them with that blast and almost took them out for your teammates to finish them (Most of the time it will finish them off unless they have high magic resist) The next item I would purchases is the Morellonomicon. The Morellonomicon offers a great ap boost to follow up after the cap. It also fully takes care of Morgana's mana problem (With the the rings it's controllable) Now you can happily blow as much Mana as you want ^^ The passive on it is pretty sweet as well. Grievous Wounds is just too funny, a character like Master Yi is screwed when you have this. Normally you would almost take them down and they start healing right? Well with this their healing is reduced by 50% which is just enough for you to finish them off. Following on, the next item I would get is Rylais Crystal Scepter. This devil of a Scepter is pain in my opinion but great for you. It offers a nice 500 HP boost that make you last longer in teamfights and give you a cheeky more 80 AP but once again it's the passive that is just too good. Dealing spell damage reduces the targets speed by 35% for 1.5 secs (15% for multiply targets and damage-over time spells) Tbh it's more funny then anything because you can throw a W in front of them to slow them by 15% and then grab them with a Q to finish them off or let your teammates deliver hell, just depends what mood your in. Ah almost there now, my 1 before final item would be The Will Of Ancients. Once again it gives a cheeky 80 AP and the needed 10% Cooldown Reduction. And again...the passive...tbf it's not that special it's just to build on her passive Spell Vamp. The Spell Vamp can be the difference between you living or dying but your health's not that high anyway so it's just there to build on what you already have. Now for my final item is just to round things off nicely. The most simple item ever that is just too wonderful, the Void Staff. Nice and easy 70 AP and ignores 35% of opponents magic resist.

Skill Sequence

Some people have many views on this both good and bad but it's down to what you think. Always start with her Q because it's great to start teamfights then follow with her W. At level 4 most people would put a point on Black Shield but it does nothing for me. Your an AP OP babe, you don't need a shield (Although it can save your life late game) I max her Q first because it's her main damage output but I try and get her W to rank 3 as quick as possible because it's a great farming tool. Everything else is pretty standard, grab her R when ever you can

Spells

I can't think of much to say, it's normal for an offensive character

Pros / Cons

Pros- Great burst damage
Can start teamfights
Higher defense then most other mages
Has an OP ultimate
Can attack from both range and up close
Looks amazing

Cons- Has VERY LONG cooldown (Time those Q's perfect)
Easy to take down down when her abilities are on cooldown
She eats through mana
Has to be in the middle of a teamfight to make effective use of her ultimate
She has a sister who is butt ugly

Team Work

Morgana early game can't take opponents on that well, she can hold the lane and that's about as much as she goes. Her role in a team is to snare, dish out a W and SPAM THOSE BASIC ATTACKS. If you got your R available then it's about the same though inserted of attack spam you press R and watch that pretty shackle do it's work (Don't forget to press the cap, they will want to cream you the moment you press it) Once Morgana has grown in power (around 6-9) she can push a lane very well unless the opponent has high magic resist or has a stupid amount of range like she does.

Summary

Overall Morgana is pain in the bum to be against but a great help to have on your team. WIth those snares of her's you'l almost always win a 2v1 fight with an ally. As I say this is my first guide so don't be too mean xD
