INTRODUCTION!
I'm a mid laner 24/7 unless it gets called first or I get autofilled in rank. Okay so starting off, Talon is a champion whereas he deals damage but he himself, is squishy. He excels at early game and he can easily dominate in lane but he scales off late game.I found Talon very interesting and fun to play the first time I tried him.He was this assassin that would demolish anyone and I mean ANYONE that faces against him....until the rework came. I still find him enjoyable though and I still continued to main him because he is the champion i enjoy the most.
I'm actually quite lazy to constantly update this guide but I will try to once in a while!

Personally I feel that Talon has a really strong early game. I would always engage a fight the moment i hit level 2 as not many mid laners have great early games.I always get first blood because of exhaust and ignite.I take W first because i would want to shred the enemy health as low as possible as I would go all in when i reach level 2.The passive really helps finishing up the enemy. If i miss my 2nd part of W, I would not engage because I know that I wouldnt be able to finish him off.
HEAL - If you do not feel safe fighting a high damage poking champion (I prefer barrier rather than heal)
FLASH - you can take this if you prefer making huge plays such as surprising enemies with a flash and a Q combo.
IGNITE - Definitely needed to finish up your opponent
CLEANSE - If you are fighting champions with annoying stuns like Twisted Fate and you do not want to build Mercurial Scimitar then go for it
CLARITY - Umm, why??? Just ask your jungler for blue or steal their blue
TELEPORT - Not recommended as you already have a high mobility kit
GHOST - If you feel like you want to be even more aggresive then go for it!
EXHAUST - Recommended to make kills easier in 1v1 scenarios
BARRIER - Recommended if you feel that your enemy will deal tons of damage and this helps to win 1v1 scenarios more easily

I personally feel that top lane Talon is not as effective as it is in mid lane. You would be getting items that wouldn't make him an assassin and it just ruins the point of having a one shot potential build to murder the heck out of ADCs. You would most likely be fighting against tanky champions such as Darius and Garen as well and Talon does not do a great job against them.To be honest, I think Top Talon just doesn't work honestly...
No, you should not ever, EVER build that on Talon. Why?Simple, because we want this Talon to one shot people not to sustain in fights. The faster we clear the trash, the faster we win.But seriously, I don't see the point of building these kind of lifesteal items when we are going for a 1 shot assassin Talon.
First of all, Talon definitely scales off late game and he can barely do damage to tanks such as Malphite or Sion. Now to start off, you should not even be aiming tanks and hoping to 1 shot them in the first place. In late game, your ONE AND ONLY aim is the ADC on the other team.Your job as Talon in the late game is just to demolish the living hell out of their ADCs (adcs in 2017 lul). There is a high chance you will die but for me, I make use of the terrains around me and I would usually parkour to safety and try to clean up any enemies that is left with low hp after the fight.
Thats because Talon isn't a 1v5 champion like riven or yasuo. Talon needs his team during the late game no matter how fed you are (unless you are playing against bots) and if Talon does not have any backup or if you attempt to engage in fights alone, you probably would be dead really fast. Not to mention if the other team has heavy CC...
So how do I prevent this?
If you are playing solo queue, try to encourage your team to stick together and push (would be easier if you are playing with people u know)

Personally, I would bring Barrier and Ignite in normal games to play it safe.If you feel like taking exhaust you can go for it as well to help win 1v1s in lane. Its just your playstyle so feel free to go either 1 of those choices.
Thanks to your high mobility kit, you can try to set up ganks at top or bottom to help your team!THIS CAN BE DANGEROUS AS THE JUNGLE MIGHT COUNTERGANK YOU AND YOU MIGHT DIE and your laning opponent would definitely push your tower so watch out for that!
Another thing you can do if you do not want to help gank or if your teammates are overpushing their lanes is that you can try and capture objectives such as the rift herald and the dragons which would help the team A LOT.If you still have spare time, go roam their jungle and steal their buffs to give them a disadvantage!
This way you can keep getting gold and help the team all at once!Becareful of your surrondings though as they might camp you and hunt you down.

If you are losing your lane, try to set up ganks for your jungler to help you camp your opponent.Just keep on farming as safely as you can (use your w, it has great wave clear). If your jungler agrees to help you, you shouldn't have any problems and you should be catching up against ur laner!
If your jungler refuses to gank, you should try and roam other lanes and try to get some kills off them and just ignore your lane (unless your tower is still alive and you can farm under tower to try and catch up with CS).I would recommend roaming bottom and try to get your adc fed as they would be very useful in teamfights so try not to be greedy and think for your team as well!

Its okay, everyone tilts once in a while so don't be discouraged.Just keep on focusing on the game and everything will be okay. Although I would recommend you to rest awhile and continue playing after that to get rid of your tilt. If that doesn't help, just find something else to do instead of playing league. You will just find yourself fustrated at the game because you're on tilt so try to rest or take a short break before continuing.
