Love this build seem to get more kills than Ap and good survivability.

I would like to know your reason for taking 3 points in deadliness over archmage's savvy. As well as taking 4 points in evasion and 1 point in nimbleness instead of 3 in strength of spirit and ardor...

It seems to me that hitting for twice the amount of damage once every 50 hits cannot outweigh having an extra 10.6 ability power @ 18.

nor dodging and moving 10% faster once every 50 hits over regenerating health equal to 1% of your mana pool & increasing your ability power and attack speed by 4%

it seems to me you are avoiding making Gragas stronger for some useless 1 in 50 change of luck

That's the main con of Body Slam... with barrel roll you cannot catch up enemies. BS is the core of this build. I'd like to add that I love to get hexadrinker at the start since it gives such a great possibility to survive finishing blows from e.g. Ashe, Malza, or any other nuker. I lovet it at early games^^

I like this build very much!!!
But, I wouldn't start with Body Slam, cos I don't see any good thing with it at start...
With Barrel Roll you can hide in bushes, and throw em on them, and easily push in start...
I would take Body Slame on 3rd lvl...
But, I like the build, nice DMG, and awesome tank abilities! ;)
And maybe for spells I would prefer more Clarity then Exhaust...
And maybe that Smite in build should be on Ability Power... No reason for smite ;)
Jungling with Gragas, maybe in later game... But at start, your team needs you so no Jungling for you ;)

1 thing the block physical damage is lower than it says on your guide.

I have changed a few things i perfedted in playing him more and more ^^
the magic pen marks give you great dmg for bodyslam and sunfire cloak ( thornmail ).
Try it out its awesome....

frozen mallet works wonder with that body slam. you slow them with the initial hit, and again right after. Gives him better CC which is always good for a tank, and lets him catch up to basically any champ.

Great Skill/Mastery/Spell build. I play gragas almost exclusively on 3's though, so my item build is different. Your item build seems like itd work for 5's.

Good build. Defiantly takes some mastering with is ult and charge. Good build though.

GOOD BUILD cept i use 29 armor pen. +1 sion+gragas tank combo = body slam byebye! ww and ezreal kept dying it was so funny. it was impossible for them to get away on TT
