I'm here with another off-meta pick for botlane (that is actually pretty good!). Are you tired of having to face this champion, of your toplaner not picking her, or you jsut find Gwen fun but don't want to learn a whole new role just to play her? Then here I have your solution: Gwen botlane. It's actually pretty good if you pick her in the correct matchup since her Hallowed Mist (W) works like a Yasuo windwall in the botlane. Hope you enjoy!

Gwen botlane isn't good every time, you need to pick her versus immobile ADC's (Kai'Sa, Jhin, Aphelios, Jinx) for her to truly shine. She will get punished otherwise. That's pretty much the only condition to picking her, but preferably you want an all-in support.

In laning phase you can look to invade or cheese a bush level 1 thanks to how powerful your E is (even after the nerfs) with your support (if they're an aggro support, if it's an enchanter just farm it out). You're gonna look to fight level 1, 3 and 6, those are your powerspikes. You're pretty sticky thanks to your E if you can keep autoing them, and your Q + R give you insane burst that they will probably not expect. You're basically gonna look to abuse them for not knowing the matchup at all.

In team-fights you're gonna look to hit the frontline while protected with your W, Hallowed Mist, since the enemy ADC won't be able to hit you. Pay attention to the duration so you can disengage when it's about to end. If you have another frontline, make sure they're the first one to go in so you can use your W more defensively. You can dive and assassinate the backline if they're exposed and you have ult, but it's a pretty risky play so i recommend you learn Gwen's limits.

Pretty much do the same as the mid-game. Not much changes. Gwen does get outscaled by most champions at this point, so you have to use your W more intelligently than before.
