Listen, I don't really have time to explain all of the rationale behind this build. This is a useful build, and can function in almost any situation. Remove certain items based upon the enemy team (i.e. take out the Mercury Treads and replace them with Ninja Tabi if the team does't A) Use AP B) Have reasons for Tenacity). This item set gets enough damage reduction to keep you alive in fights, and enough Attack Damage with the passive from Trinity Force to destroy most anything. The runes make you early game unbelievable. The skill progression maximizes your time in lane by filling your sustain first. The pots are really optional. I find that the sustain from Spirit of Dread is significant enough to replace the pots in every way, but it's your call. The summoner spells are really up to you, however, I recommend Ignite for the additional damage and healing reduction. Flash has a variety of uses, but mostly you'll be using it to either escape or approach enemies and to gain damage on Devastating Charge.

BASIC FIGHT LAYOUT:

1) Charge in with either Devastating Charge or Onslaught of Shadows (I recommend Devastating Charge), it does some pretty serious chunkage (you capitalize off the buff from Trinity Force).
2) Hit your Spirit of Dread, it will keep you alive much longer, the LS is just so beautiful.
3) Spam Rampage. Every time you hit it, you do additional damage and activate the damage buff from Trinity Force.
3) If for whatever reason they successfully try to get out of your reach (you have over 400 movement speed and no unit collision, they shouldn't escape you) just pursue with whichever charge you didn't use (Hopefully this one is Onslaught of Shadows).
4) Repeat on nearby enemies until everything is dead. EVERYTHING.


HECARIM IN A NUTSHELL - The faster and harder you go, the worse it is to be them.
