Introduction

Hecarim, is indeed one of the fastest junglers of League of Legends. It's Healing abilities, AoE damage, low cooldown and very high movement speed makes him a unique and a very fun champion.

Runes (Marks)

Mark of Strength: Gives AD that helps you clear jungle faster early game, and works for most other fighters and junglers.

Mark of Desolation: Goes great against minions AND when you're ganking top.

Runes (Seals and Glyphs)

-> Glyph of Shielding
-> Seal of Resilience

These two are necessary as you're playing a fighter/jungler champion. Armor saves you against Large monsters (Blue/Red/Dragon) and magic resist against champions when ganking.

Runes (Quintessences)

: Desolation: the same reason as for marks.
: Strength: the same reason as for marks.
: Swiftness: To have a faster and a stronger Hecarim (Passive)

Masteries

This set of masteries gives you:
: 10g+ for using Smite
/: faster movement speed that triggers your passive making jungling Faster and Stronger.
/: makes Hecarim tankier!
