Hecarim, the Shadow of War, has made his way to League of Legends and im here to teach you how to play him! For begginers i recommend that you follow the ways of a pro and follow Phreak's guide that he featured in the champion spotlight. That way you know a decent way to build him correctly, rather than not knowing.

Jungling routes.

Hecarim starts at blue like most junglers then moves to wolfs quickly after, from there go to wraiths then red, then the golems. rinse and repeat. This route is probably one of the easiest to remember. it is also really easy to gank this way coming from place to place.

Tips

Playing As Hecarim

- Spirit of Dread restores heath when nearby enemies take damage, including damage dealt by allies. Cast this during a large fight to maximize Hecarim's survivability.

- Devastating Charge deals more damage based on the distance of traveled. Try using Onslaught of Shadows or Summoners Spells such as Ghost or Flash to maximize this damage.

Playing Against Hecarim

- Hecarim gains life from nearby enemies with Spirit of Dread but lacks durability, use burst damage.

- Hecarim's ultimate causes opponents to flee in terror. Spread out to reduce his power in fights.
