Lesson 1 : Last Hitting

Last hitting is one of the basic skills needed for every MOBA players. Getting good at last hitting will result in more gold giving you more items to scale off nicely throughout the game

First, hit ESC to get to the OPTIONS menu, under the GAME tab, uncheck the Auto Attack box, this will prevent your champion from attacking the minions randomly

Last hit using auto attack

This is the most simple type of last hit, you literally just have to sit there and wait until the minion is low enough to kill.

Last hit using skills

This type of last hit is commonly used when there are more than 2 minions dying at the same time making auto attack not an option.

This is best used in conjunction with harrassing the opponent at the same time.

Lesson 2: Safe Zone

The Safe Zone is much better understood as: you either stay here or die ( you can see my corpse in the picture )

Explanation:

Green arrow to base:

this is your home, you should stay behind that line and just get whatever farm you can, venture further at your own risk.

Orange triangle:

this area is somewhat dangerous because you can get ganked easily through the river, tread with care ( and by care i mean wards ).

No sign zone with a corpse:

stay the *beep* away from this zone or the next corpse will be yours.

Lesson 3: Warding

Warding is the action of placing a ward to give vision to give you information on the enemy's team. This is extremely important throughout the games because it will gain you the vision needed to avoid ganks from the enemy's jungler.

Here are some good ward placements:
