To make full use of the guide, I suggest reading the inserted notes and discussion below, as I explain many tips to mastering yasuo and playing against matchups. This guide is mainly for Yasuo mid, but can be applied to top lane Yasuo as well.

Greater Mark of Attack Speed: Attack speed is important on Yasuo for reducing Yasuo's Q Steel Tempest cooldown. Running 9x of these runes gives 15% attack speed, which reduces the cooldown of Steel Tempest by 0.365 seconds from 4 seconds to 3.635 seconds.

Greater Seal of Health: Yasuo has one of the lowest base health's of all champions. Running 4x of these runes gives Yasuo an extra 32 health, allowing you to take a little extra damage before going down.

Greater Glyph of Magic Resist: Yasuo has no scaling magic resist starts off with base magic resist of 30. running 9x of these runes gives Yasuo an extra 12 magic resist, which is often necessary in fighting AP champions in and out of lane.

Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed: Running 3x of these quint runes gives Yasuo an extra 14% attack speed.
