This is my first build guide go easy on me i know its lacking stuff. Ok so Irelia is not the most played champion out there but shes really good. She is my main and I she is awesome, never lets me down. She is great in team fights and can sustain a good amount of damage. she can lock down squishy targets and burst them very easily. shes so fast with a great gap closer by level 18. Over all she is a great champion.

Pros Cons

- Good sustain - Shes not that easy to just walk into
- Very Very powerful late game - not very strong early game
- very fast - not the best jungler
- gap closer

With those runes choices she can crush tanks and other armor stacking champions and stay alive while doing it. Her movement speed is insane even with one quintessance of swiftness.

I went 21/9/0 is the masteries because she is a bruiser so the extra damage and defense is a good option. You can also go utility but offense and defense is the best way to go with her.

The items are very situational after trinity force. If you are really owning a game them get wits end and atmas before warmogs, but if you need armor tri- force does alot of dmg without anyother item on irelia. You can replace FoN with guardian angel or thornmail etc.

I find all of irelia's abilites to be extremly good to level up especially with this build, but Equilibrium Strike is the top priority, and of course you get her ultimate at 6/11/16. I know a lot of irelia builds say not to get hiten style but it makes her so much stronger its worth leveling up early.

For spells Ghost is a really good option for her cause of her passive and and mercury treads. Its nearly imposible to catch up to or escape from irelia when she uses ghost. And ignite is a great spell because you get that extra damage that you neewd after your done with or burst. Exhaust is also and good item that can replace ignite.

Irelia had great teamwork because of her slow/stun, and in team fights she can jump on the ad or ap carry and the back and nuke them. She can also be a backup tank.

Irelia can jungle if you team needs a jungle but she does and can get counter jungled really easily, but if u wanted to jungle you would take ghost and smite and add a wriggles lantern before anything else starting with the vampiric scepter. You would start at blue buff then continue down skipping red until ur done with golems, then you would go back get more items in wiggles lantern get red and go for your first gank. Irelia is a great ganker because of her stun/slow and her ability to jump onto a target.

Irelia is an amazing farmer because of bladesurge evertime she last hist a minions with bladesurge the cooldown is refreshed making her farming amazing. Also her ultimate is on such a sort cooldown that you can farm or get f=dragon or baron or any buff with her ultimate and have it back in 30 seconds, its great for killing an entire minions wave.

Overall ireia is a great champion that not played enough. she has great potential and more pros then cons. Remember this is my first build i know its bad i dont know how to do a lot of stuff yet. Please dont be a jerk when commenting thank you.
