****, forgot to mention my ability progression.

The reason i level Zephyr and Howling Gale is so I can move around fast, clear lanes with 1 HG and kill champs that underestimate me (which most of them do... works in my favor :P ).

typically around 13min. in i'm level 10 or 9 which at that level, minions are so weak that 1 HG wipes them out, minus the melee ones, they're left with 1 creap hit on them. so don't forget to stick around til they die. (1 or 2 seconds)

it's super risky but if played right, you can reach level 18 before 20 min. in and start the Janna Gank Rampage.

wow, thanks man.

The reason, i don't switch out boots of swiftness is because they slow down after you engage in a fight or someone attacks you but with boots of swiftness you maintain that speed, it's like having ghost on indefinitely. Even people using ghost won't catch you. I was able to outrun a ghosting teemo like that. (saved my *** so many times lol)

As for the phantom dancer, i figure if the game lasts long enough for you to even GET it, you might end up being the only person able to push fast enough to a tower and deal decent amount of damage before the enemy team notices. It's a tough decision on the player to decide when to run and when to push. Games were typically won because of a ghost pusher. Along with her ability to shield herself from the towers attacks for a few seconds gives her the edge in the sense that he doesn't really have to wait for the minions to get to the tower.

Ryjai's Scepter is a really good idea now that i think about it. if ganked, she can tornado and run the hell out of it while they're slowed. I didn't think of that. I guess you could sacrifice the Soul Shrowed for that. Good call on that one. I'll try it out.

Also, something i forgot to mention in this... which i'll end up editing after this comment, is that Janna NEEDS to lane in the middle to be able to get all this stuff early game. After level 10 she can jungle wraiths, wolves, and golems extremely fast and still defend/push the middle lane. (more gold and faster levels). Sadly, people only see her as a ***** healer and not so much as a lane pusher.

oh well. Hope you have fun with her! I also have another build description for Champ nuking titled "Janna the unexpected mage". It's a risky build in the sense that your cooldowns are still pretty high but you deal insane amounts of damage. I typically average out from 7-20 kills per game with only 0-3 deaths.

again, thanks for the comment dude. :)

I've seen this build in action and it proves to be effective, but looking over the abilities and your description of what you go for in terms of performance, I suggest trying out Boots of Mobility instead of Boots of Swiftness if your switching between lanes often to increase your speed to get to where your going fast as you said. As well as switching out one of your items for more ap to make Janna's abilities more effective.

Perhaps a Rylai's Scepter instead of Phantom Dancer(seeing that she has a low attack and doesn't need increased crit chance) for more ap and all you abilities will slow your enemy's. Maybe get it early on as well. I don't play Janna but I can imagine her ult being devastating especially with teammates around-healed and ready to hunt down slowed enemies... I want to play Janna now. +1 for inspiration!

Its a nice build. You don't play offensively, you play a hard defense that makes the enemy retreat? and maybe even get kills? that's what your saying?
