Authors Note
Jayce returned to the lab to prepare for his attack. After intense research, development, and hands-on testing, he emerged with his crowning achievement – the Mercury Hammer. Weapon in hand, Jayce marched to Zaun and began his one-man assault. Viktor's acolytes rushed to stop him, but Jayce smashed them aside, fighting his way into the heart of the lab. Inside, Jayce saw the horrifying brilliance of Viktor's creations, all powered by the energy of the arcane crystal. He realized that his only option was to destroy the power source, but Viktor stood in his way. Though their clash left both scientists heavily wounded, Jayce managed a desperate strike at the crystal. He shattered it and escaped as Viktor's machines erupted in flames. When he returned home, exhausted but victorious, the citizens of Piltover hailed Jayce as a hero. He reveled in the adoration, but knew that his actions had drawn the attention of dangerous enemies. Now devoted to the defense of his people, Jayce is Piltover's best hope for a bright future.
"Trust me: if we're smart, Piltover can stand strong against any threat. Hey, I'm living proof."

Base Build
x3
[/h2]
This is the basic starting order for any AD carry. Jayce is a little slow so the boots help get in, deal your damage, and get out. The health potions help with staying as long as possible in your lane.
Optional Start
Long Sword
Nice for a little extra attack early on. Build to rush Phage
Cloth Armor
Sometimes the best offense is a strong defense. Helps to stay in lane and rush Glacial Shroud
Regrowth Pendant
I am never one to turn down an item that helps with health Regrowth Pendant will allow you to build Force of Nature which gives a respectable amount of health regen early game
Hopefully by the time you recall, you should have the gold required to purchase glacial shroud. This item offers 45 armor and 425 mana, which is nothing to sneeze at and helps you stay in lane longer. The true glory of glacial shroud is the 15% cooldown reduction. This allows you to swap forms quickly, and allows you to use hyper charge to get back into the fight.
Phage
This item adds some needed health and attack, which at this point is going to start to become necessary. Toss in a chance to slow your enemy and you can start to rack up the damage as they try to flee.
Zeal
Jayce has little in the way of attack speed and crit. This item gives Jayce some much needed attack speed and prepares the summoner to either build a phantom dancer or trinity force
mercurys treads
Finally the time has come to give Jayce some new footware. These new boots upgrade his movement speed, add some tenacity to get out of slows and stuns, as well as gives some magic resist against those pesky mages.
Finally the time has come for the fruits of your labor to start. We are going to finish
Frozen Heart
Adds yet more armor and reduces the attack speed of nearby enemies.
Frozen Mallet
Adds more health, and slows all targets it hits
Phantom Dancer
Increases your attack and movement speed, as well as giving some extra crit
To finish off this build:
Bloodthirster
Adds stacking attack damage and life steal
Force of Nature
Adds health regeneration and magic resistance
