Jock's Guide to - Daruis
One of the strongest solo tops in league very few can contend with this champions ability's.
So here it is Jock's guide to daruis!
Runes
First off we will start with quins the main runes to any build.
Life steal quins 3x2%
why?
6% life steal mixed with mysteries and my first item gives me a huge amount of sustain and considering your a toe to toe champ he really needs this plus this can delay the need to rush a bt early giving extra money to spend in other areas.

9x.95 ad
why
this boosts his damage plus adds to the life he gets back each hit really making him a hard hitter early.
next seals
9x1.41 Armour
why?
well you deal damage and heal damage reducing the damage you take really boosts the effects of the life steal and gives you greater sustain
finally glyphs
9x1.34magic res
why?
these round off the build very nicely and make sure your covering all options against other solo tops
Items
First item is a doran's blade to complete the life steal give some damage and health a very good all round iteam boosted by he quins with that start you have a just a little short of ad quins damage but have a the same life steal as a scepter.
boots are next simply your slow without them
then another dorans this will bridge the gap between the bf and nothing plus push you to 15% lifesteal while giving you a bit more of health
then on to merc treads. why? most champs in league have a form of cc and Darius is very vulnerable to this reducing those early will really help keep you ahead of the game plus the magic res balances his defenses out nicely
on to a bf sword straight in to an ie crit plus his w really had massive burst and add alot of damage really making Darius a scary 1v1 or 1v2 champ.
now here is where i change my build from most other players.... build a trinity force. why?
several reason it speeds you up + attack speed mean your passive hits more = more damage from ult or the main reason the sheen how many times do you . up the ult? with an extra sheen hit on top of that damage it really brutally hits home and you keep your ult once again.
ok now your hitting really had but getting focus your can take damage but getting close to death time for a guardian angle massive defenses plus that ult.. = hello penta
now it's time for more sustain to really top you off in a fight with a bt
finial item is all yours another bt for more damage or if there carry has gotten out of hand a thornmail both viable options
Skill Sequence
With Darius his q is a massive farming and harass tool so max that first
Next it really depends on your Enemy tank go for crippling strike at 3 and push up apprehend for the passive and swap between if not tank rush Crippling strike and max it second
as with all ultimate's 6 11 16
Summoner Spells
Flash it's a huge gap closer or creator plus with apprehend and the ult makes one of the most useful tools for Darius
Ignite Buff to his passive lot of damage over the final few seconds of the fight.
Summary
This build is all about being aggressive, farming well and picking your enemy down for the final combo, i hope it helps and sheds some light on another view for Darius
