Also, for the lolz, popping shurelya's then ghost would provide
((((320*1.4)+(320*1.35)+(320*0.02)+(320*0.03))-320)+50)*0.25 ad
at level 18 with full build and ghost mastery. This is equivalent to 157-22= 135 bonus ad, this only lasts for 3 seconds however so is not really worth building around. Still, interesting.

i dont think its a weak passive, i just dont think that it is strong enough to warrant building around it.(Warning wall of text incoming) Also ghost would provide very little ad, presuming level 18 so 25% conversion:
full build movespeed= 408 (rounded up, all numbers from this point on will be rounded to the nearest whole number) base=320,
so you are getting 88*0.25 damage from your passive as it only works on bonus movespeed this is equivalent to 22 extra ad from your passive at level 18.
if you then use ghost with the mastery (so 35% increase in movespeed) you would get
((((320*1.35)+(320*0.02)+(320*0.03))-320)+50)*0.25 ad
which is equal to 45 rounded up, minus what you would have gained anyway so 45-22= 23 extra ad from ghost for 10 seconds at level 18. At lower levels this bonus would be even smaller. (the 0.02 and 0.03 in the formula are the movement speed masteries in defense and utility).
Without the ghost mastery this would be
((((320*1.27)+(320*0.02)+(320*0.03))-320)+50)*0.25 ad
which is 38 extra ad minus the 22 you would have anyway is 16 extra ad from ghost at level 18 with no ghost mastery.
to sum it up, at level 18 with full build ghost would provide:
23 extra ad (with ghost mastery)
16 extra ad (without ghost mastery)
Its up to you to figure out whether you think this is worth it or not, I personally believe the instant utility of flash is stronger than 19 ad in most situations, although it is your choice.
I think this answers your question.

I'm not the author, but seriosly, i give you my opinions here.
1) philosopher's stone and Heart of Gold is not a waste. These give you early boost in MP5, which is needed due to you giving blue to your AP. It also gives you HP. And you know what? These items are free. Yes. Early boost in durability for free. They repay themselves after a good amount of time.

2) shurelia's reverie on supports only? Why? a good bunch of HP/HP5/MP5, and 40% MS boost! Even if your support has it, you now have 2, so twice a minute, your team runs like the wind. It can be used for escape aswell, and chase ofc.

3) He explained the Flash > Ghost in the guide. It's all about preference IMO.

4) My biggest mistake on Hecarim... Trinity is a great item. But Hecarims ult means that he MUST BE TANKY, because he should jump into the middle of the enemy team. I have died countless times because i wasn't tanky enough, just running trinity. Just my opinion. Just like Nasus, it's about Tankiness first, trinity after.

Just my opinions.

Well acutally I am jungling with Hecarim since he was released and I haven't seen good Hecarim jungler using both Heart of Gold and Philosopher's stone. No offence, but taking more then 1 on this champion is not good idea. About Trinity... I take Aegis of the Legion before going to Trinity, which is that tanky item you need. Sometimes is better to finish Omen before Trinity, yes. But whatever, this guide is cool, let's just +1 it... :)

A good guide, could use more coding tough. And also you reminded me to add Oracle's Elixir into my guide, totally forgot about it. +1

Thanks for the relpy ThaKinetic, i would say your comments in response to the above are pretty much spot on. Gp10s pay for themselves in relatively short space of time so you are essentially getting early stats for free. Having another shurelya's on someone other than the support means that you can maintain the movespeed boost for twice as long, it also gives plenty of useful stats and is a cheap upgrade from the philo stone. I also included a second build in the guide for if you od not wish to build shurelya's reverie as i know some people dislike the item.
Thanks for the feedback sariondil but i would have to disagree.

Hey man, this seems like quite nice build, even without coding and others, but I would like to say, Philosopher's Stone and Heart of Gold is in my opinion waste of items. Randuin's Omen is nice item, really, but Shurelya's Battlesong is big waste, this item should be kept by supports not heroes like Hecarim, even for it's active bonus. Btw I can't stand using Flash on Hecarim, because you should be able to have with Ghost and your mastery and rune set more move speed then you actually can use so Ghost is maybe better spell then Flash But whatever... I also recommend get Trinity Force as fastest you can but you won't lose much when you take it after Frozen H..

However I would like to ask you for visiting my own Hecarim build, even it's 3v3 it can help somewhere. But still Good Job man, keep workin on it. :)
