Dodging is easily the most useful tool for climbing, if you don't want to dodge you don't have to, but you'll just end up wasting more of your time.
You can dodge one game every 12 hours.
It isn't worth dodging more than once every 12 hours due to the fact you'll lose 10lp instead of 3lp.

When to always dodge:
1. Any of your teammates average >8 deaths on their champion.
2. Three or more of your teammates have negative winrates on their champion.
3. Someone greifing during champ select.

When to sometimes dodge:
1. Your teammates are autofilled.
2. Your teammates are playing their champion for the first time.
Only dodge for these reasons if the rest of your teammates don't look promising.

Auto + Q + W + W: Safe electrocute combo.

Q + W + Ignite + W: Safe ignite electrocute combo.

R(w) + Auto + Q + W + R: Safe long range electrocute combo.

R(w) + Q + W + Ignite + R: Safe long range ignite electrocute combo.

W + E + W + Q: Safe root combo.

R(w) + W + E + W + Q + R: Safe long range root combo.

W + E + W + R + Q: Max root combo.

R(q) + Q + W: Instant kill combo.
