If he jumps on you and lands Qs, you're dead. If he misses and you hit W, he dies. Just dodge his Qs and hit your Zaps and you'll be fine.
Ahri
Like all assassins, Ahri is a major threat. However, you can abuse her Charm since it doesn't go through minions. If you see her looking for an angle, throw a Zap out while she's exposed. Keep your distance and mind her 4 flashes
Akali
She's garbo now. If she doesn't hit E or ult into you she can't do anything to you. Harass her with autos and if she looks for an angle Zap. If she goes into Shroud though, back up. Akali can still do truckloads of damage and you don't have the HP to tank it.
Anivia
You outrange her, but she can do her things through the minion wave, something you cannot. Don't sleep on her wall to stun combo and you should be fine
Annie
Point and click stun to Tibbers deletes you. Respect her damage and if you sense she's about to dive throw out Chompers and wait for her to waste stun
Aurelion Sol
Abuse him. He has to position out of his minion wave to aim his stars and that is when you win. If you miss W, run like hell and try to stop him since you won't outrun him
Azir
Noone knows how to play Azir, but if they do stay as far away from the soldiers as possible. Refillable Potion is recommended if he knows what he's doing
Brand
While you outrange him hard, he will delete you if you're too close. Space out and you should be good
Cassiopeia
She hurts. A lot. Try to play super safe because if she rolls her keyboard on you you'll be taken real low or you're dead.
Corki
He's very weak early, but if he picks up steam he's gonna do a lot of damage. Root him when he dives you though and you should make it out okay. His range isn't good
Diana
Another assassin, but he has a bit of trouble getting in. Read her habits and dodge the crescent thing and you should be okay
Ekko
Ekko's range is abysmal which makes it easy for you to abuse. Dodge his slow disc thingy and he can't do much. Keep him at a distance and you should be fine
Ezreal
You both have pretty similar win conditions, but he wins more trades. If he misses W though, or wastes E it's pretty easy to rack up some easy damage. If he hits you with W though, back up and play safe till it expires
Fizz
Your best bet is dodging at champ select. This is one of Jinx's unwinnable matchups and trying to play it out will do nothing but make you break your PC.
Galio
If he hits you, you're probably dead. His CC chain will keep you locked and will leave you with no escape. Try to keep your distance as much as possible
Heimerdinger
Another dodge at champ select. His turrets make your life a living hell and will block every W you throw out. His range isn't abusable since he can kite your W to land his stun to delete combo.
Jinx
You are the superior Jinx. Assert dominance and murder her repeatedly for even trying to ascend to your god status
Karma
She's mad oppressive. Play safe behind your wave and don't let her catch you out of position or else it hurts. She's really good at setting up ganks as well
Karthus
His range is short, but overextending can kill you pretty quick. If your HP is starting to drop low enough for his ult to kill start backing asap before he backs up and presses his instawin button
Kassadin
He's pretty susceptible to your high physical damage but he excels at getting in your face. Try to prevent him from scaling because he requires items to be useful
Katarina
While she's not impossible to lane against, she definitely isn't easy. Play safe and wait till you start scaling, then roam to pick up kills elsewhere. DO NOT STAND ON HER KNIVES
LeBlanc
If you can't root her, you're dead. Don't let her tether you and stay the hell away from her. Farm under turret and cry for ganks
Lissandra
You're gonna need your jungler. Wait for her to overextend then capitalize
Lux
Do not forget her root goes through 1 minion. Try to avoid her long-range pokes and dodge the roots. It's not very wise to fish for Zaps since she can punish easily with her root. If she wastes her stuff however, go ham on her.
Malzahar
Void minions block W, his silence removes all of your damage and his ult is a free kill if you don't have QSS up.
Mordekaiser
Pizza Feet hurts, but he can't do much to you if you play safe. Go for pokes when you can, but be wary of going up to your wave to farm.
Neeko
Her abilities are actually better if they go through minions, so position outside of your wave. Dodge her spells and don't approach your minions. Save your flash for getting out of her ult in a pinch, and buy Stopwatch.
Orianna
Her ball is very annoying to deal with. Stay away from it like the plague and try to get a sense for when she will reposition it.
Rumble
Don't get close or else you will get roasted alive. If you can keep your distance and dodge the tazers then you win pretty easily. Be wary of his ult though, he can use the slow as a gap closer
Ryze
Ryze is only a threat if they have an ult they can abuse. Nunu, Neeko and Fiddle all have ults Ryze can teleport while they're casting. Be careful of those and you win ez pz
Sylas
Harass him, but do not approach. If he dashes towards you run and try to dodge the hook. Chances are you wont make it out alive if he catches you
Syndra
See Orianna
Talon
It's possible, but not very likely. His damage is absolutely nuts and no matter what you will not win if he lands the first hit. If he hits you with his knives, run. If you get hit by his knife toss twice and he's fed, flash away. You won't live through a full Talon rotation, and Barrier won't save you if he has Duskblade.
Twisted Fate
His stun is mildly annoying but not much else than that. If he picks the yellow card, back up and wait for him to waste it. Dodge his card toss and murder him when he mispostitions
Veigar
No matter what you do, Veigar will outscale you. Later on he will 2 shot you with any ability, and Cage will set up everything perfectly. Harass him as much as possible and do not give him stacks. If he backs and doesn't have tele, shove his lane in and roam.
Vel'Koz
His range is nasty, but his huge size makes it easy to hit Zaps. Dodge his abilities and don't give him Research stacks. Harass when possible
Viktor
Dodge the lazer and root him when he goes in. If he dumps his electric fields on you try to get out of them. Most of his damage comes from his lazer and ult so if you dodge those then he's not hard to kill. Viktor is super reliant on items so bully him out early
Xerath
Your Zap outdamages his everything early, and will for the whole game if you put him behind early. Don't get stunned by his ball thing and you win every trade. His mana sustain relies on autoing stuff so try to force him away from the minions and he won't be able to respond to your pokes
Yasuo
Stay away from your minions since he excels at diving you in your wave. Staying away also forces him to chose whether to poke you or farm with his Tornado. Don't let him in try to waste his windwall. DO NOT SLEEP ON HIS DAMAGE, HE WILL DELETE ONCE HE GETS INFINITY EDGE
Zed
Ban him every game. If he gets picked uninstall. You will never win against Zed.
Ziggs
If you can avoid Bouncing Bomb and don't walk into Hexmines then you win fairly easy. Satchel Charge has short range but is a displace. And of course, if you're low run like hell to somewhere he doesn't have vision so he can't ult you for a free kill
Zoe
If you get hit by the sleep bubble, you die. Pay attention to what items and summoners she has and gauge her kill potential. Wait until she wastes Sleepy Bubble before you go for pokes, and remember minions block Paddle Star.
Amumu
Junglers that keep them in place for extended periods of time like Amumu are best with Jinx since makes it so much easier to hit W, E and R. Junglers that displace them like Hecarim are the worst for Jinx since often times they'll knock them out of Jinx's abilities. Full synergy list is a work in progress so check back often when it's updated

This guide is mostly inspired by Darkk Mane's "A Glorious Guide on How to Play Jinx" video, which is linked above. I one tricked Jinx for a good bit in S8 so once I saw the video I knew I had to try it. After a while it became my favorite way to play Jinx and I've picked up a good number of tips and such along the way. I guess you could consider this an expansion to his video as I go more in-depth to the glory of Lethality Jinx.
Why you should try this
If this video doesn't want to make you try this, I don't know what will. As you can see by the time late game rolls around you nuke squishies for pretty much all their HP in one hit. Is it optimal? God no, but that's not the point. The point is to tilt the enemy team that a Lethality Jinx mid just penta'd their uber meta comp. They FF, try to report the midlaner for trolling and you sit there watching the enemy team go up in flames. Oh, and killing everyone in 2 hits. That's fun too
Laning
In lane, you have one goal: get ahead. Keep up your farm, whittle down your enemy laner and get tower plates. Try to focus mainly on last-hitting your minions since Lethality Jinx is fairly reliant on items to do meaningful damage outside of laning. Try to keep both sides of the river warded at all times since a good gank means certain death as Jinx has very little options to escape. If you spot the enemy laner out of position, punish with a Zap!. If it's safe, try to position yourself in a good angle to hit Zap!. People often sleep at how much damage it does and won't back when they really should. If you're chasing them down and they're close to you, try to drop Flame Chompers! ahead of them so they stay in range longer. If you can get free tower damage, try to since you get a nice bonus of 160 gold per plate.
Mid-Game
So by this point laning is over. Turrets have fallen, lanes are roaming and Drakes and Herald are being fought over. At this point your main goal is to stay as far back as possible while still pumping out damage with Zap!. Don't be afraid to go for Super Mega Death Rocket! snipes since if you hit they die giving you a bunch of gold, and if you miss it's no big deal since it's only around 60 secs CD at this point. Try to be aware of enemy locations since it's very easy for you to die to ganks, especially if you don't have Flash.
Late-Game
Spam the living hell out of Zap! and aim it at the enemy champs. By now you're at full build; Manamune is complete so you never run out of mana, you have 45% CDR and armor is non existent to you. Your Super Mega Death Rocket! is around 30 secs in CD and Zap! has a 2.2 sec CD. If you miss, cast it again and if they get hit keep up the barrage. If they're squishy ult will kill below 35-40%HP no matter the range, and tanks will die below 25%HP at any range. Past 1500 units (roughly the distance of Tier 1 mid turret to the center of the map) squishies die below 60%-75%% and tanks die below 40%-50%. Keep in mind that after 1500 units the speed of the rocket nearly doubles from 1500 to 2500, so try not to overcompensate over longer distances. Remember to keep as far as you can away from them so you don't overextend and go from 100-0 in 0.2 seconds.
Conclusion
TL:DR, play safe but aggressively poke, keep your CS high and don't miss your skillshots. That's all for my Lethality Jinx guide, I hope you enjoyed it! This is my first guide so if you have any suggestions please leave them in the comments and let me know how I did. Jinx is one of my favorite champions to play and after you try out this build hopefully you'll agree
