this is my first guide, i will continually try to update it as best as i can.

I love nidalee, she was my first "main" and i fell in love, she is so unique and so powerful, and this guide should help you achieve that power too =P

Greater Seal of Focus: these give you some nice cdr that tops off the cdr you get from the utility tree, puts punce under a 3 second cooldown and brings heal down alot too, this helps with pounce and i find it helps with lane sustain as well.

Greater Mark of Insight: nidalee is a ap carry, these runes help her hit harder, enough said =P

Greater Glyph of Potency: a bunch of extra ap, really helps early game

Greater Quintessence of Potency: these help so much early game its hard to describe.

these masteries focus on the utility tree, while takeing a little dip into the offense tree. I only went into the offense tree as far as i did because nothing above "archaic knowledge" is really of any benifit to an ap carry, and i dont take ignite so i don't "take burning embers"

however the utility tree gives nidalee some bonus movespeed, cdr, and improves flash and mana regen, these all help her laneing phase (especially mana regen).

cdr boots: i choose these over mercs treads because, nidalees couger form gives her magic and amror now, so i felt this would be more of a benifit to her pounce and heal.

rabadons: classic ap carry item

lich bane: takedown and lichbane combo works so well, once you get this item you will be one shottting most of the squishy carries on the other team, dont forget this also works with towers and ranged auto attacks

void staff: extra ap and mpen is nice

Rylias: this item gives me alot of ap while making me tanky, the slow is also nice & almost gauntee kills (pounce + slow = win)

spear takes priotity, ever since the "nerf" nidalees heal costs a whopping 140 mana at max rank, use you ap runes and cdr to your advantage and max this second, simply to keep the mana cost down in lane.

if you find yourself maxing heal while still in lane, debate putting an extra point or too into heal then going for traps, the mana cost is so important.

couger form: takedown -punce-swipe (if your harrasing in lane, use this then run back) however if your trying to make a kill persue with pounce.

human form: chuck spears, if someone walks over a trap spear them and attack is couger form; 20% amrmor and mr reduction is insane

clarity: i find this so awesome, its like haveing blue all day long, so your ap carries (brand, lux etc.) who really need it can take blue, this is also a good recover for the whole group late game, especially alistars.

flash: the pounce flash combo is devestating, its a safe kill or a awesome getaway, it also counters other peoples flash, take it....

ignite: your spear is better than this spell, why take it

exhaust: another viable pick over flash, you can also swap one point to spec into it to gain amrmor reduction, but nidalee is ap, so its not that good other than a slow and dmg reduction

team fights: heal and chuck spears, this is what nidalee does (more spears than heals nowadays) only go into couger form to chase down fleeing carries, then get back to healing and chucking spears at the main fight.

1v1: nidalee can kite like a boss, use pounce, spear, to get away and harass them, remember your passive, use it to escape, initiate, and kite as well.

pounce can be used at a variety of locations on the map, as i have shown below, also note summoners rift is symmetrical, so obviously you can do this on both sides.

nidalee is a one of a kind champion, and takes allot of skill to use, once you get good though you are unstoppable, using couger form early game (in lane) is SOOOOOO strong, use it to your advantage, good luck, and tanks for reading =P
