I'm against buying Mejai's too, I am just interested in what other people think of it on Lux. Bytheway, Lux is a really big spammer, you should snare and shield people all the time. That is why I think Archangels is awesome, also the passive really kicks *** (2% of mana -> AP!)

I'm going to change it.

Preseverence isn't going to keep you in lane longer, sorry. Lux's base HP5 is 4.5/5seconds gaining .55 every level. Increasing that by 4% isn't going to do much at all. At level 18, its a grand total of 13.85/5 adding 4% will bring you to 14.4/5. You don't even gain 1 whole extra tick at max level. You'll get a bit more for mana if you have the extra talents that increase it, but it's still incredibly low, a mana pot or Faerie Charm will be more useful that the maxxed out talent. The best recommendation is to only put one point into that talent, if you notice 1 point gives you 2% but the next two points only add 1% each.

Now 10% less death time might not look appealing but end game it can mean the difference between winning and losing, if your team gets aced, being able to get up 4-6 seconds faster can be the difference between saving or losing your base. Typically you take 3 in good hands and 1 in Perseverance, since you are taking teleport, maybe move the one from good hands over but don't take more than 1 point in Perseverance.

First thing: this guide is for casual players, not for high level games. Done for people who starts playing Lux. I shall make my next guide much better :)

Archangel's Staff - is that much useless here, coz Lux is not a caster who spams her spells. You woudln't get more than 400 bonus mana from passive. This item is expensive and gives you little AP. If you count AoR will give you more AP - faster.
Mejai's Soulstealer - I'm against buying this item (or any stackable items) ever. On lower levels people are just not skilled enough to use it, and later you will play against skilled players who will prevent you from stacking on Mejai. It is very bad idea to buy this item on ranked games. Mejai beeing usefull depends solely on luck (works only if you play against total noobs).
You said: - "Good Hands > Perseverence. Period." and you still insist on buying Mejai? Dont get you. If you buy Mejai means you won't die. So if you won't die you dont need Good Hands but Perseverence! I think Good Hands are just overrated. Have you ever thought about how many secounds it gives you? If I dont plan on dying so getting 10-20 seconds from all deaths its not that much (might be good for Dominion but not for normal game). instead I prefere to stay longer in lane thanks to Preseverence.

Starry99 - Of course youre right. I included that in my guide (didn;t you notice). If enemy doesn't build MR items you don't really need to get even more Magic Pentration than you already have. Probably not having links to items makes this guide less readable.
As I said - this is guide for casual players/beginers. Most of them doesn't know that they need to be in the back/likes to charge etc. I asume in heat of the battle they will make many mistakes pro players wouldn't. So to make their game more fun I included Lich Bane :)
AoR might slow you a bit but lets those casual players live a little bit longer to fix their mistakes :) Thats why they need that.

Here's a few things to try with Lux that might improve your game play:

Take points out of expanded mind and greed (both kinda useless) and put them into the extended neutral buff. Good hands is better than Perseverance.

Cooldown boots + evil tome + masteries is overkill for CDR on Lux. Try getting the mpen boots instead.

She's also one of the few AP characters I don't get a RoA on. She needs AP fast and building the catalyst slows this. It also gives her more health, which she shouldn't need. If you position her right in team fights, you shouldn't be getting hit at all. I guess building the Lich Bane means you're going to be fighting in melee range, which is not where Lux should be. I would rather have a void staff somewhere for when people start building magic resist items.

Short but good build. You might want to link items and skills to the items and skills in the guide. Also, you might want to read through and fix grammar and spelling.For example, it says thwy in the Items section. Still, +1, just please fix the errors, and the links would be nice.
