Hunter's Machete into Refillable Potion, back around 650 gold which is after you clear your entire jungle but don't clear ancient krug , get Skirmisher's Sabre and couple a Daggers. Get an early Serrated Dirk then rush Skirmisher's Sabre - Bloodrazor into Blade of the Ruined King. Then any items that builds into Serrated Dirk. Then after that get any item you want, whether its crit, armor or attack speed its fine. Master Yi is such a simple champion that can be built in to many ways.

I personally can't teach you any of this so I recommend you check out Autoswitched's twitch tv. Or Cowsep's twitch and youtube as well.

Blade of the Ruined King
After its buff, it has become broken and all adc's (almost) rush it first. For example Ashe, Twitch and Vayne also rushes this first. It does an even amount of damage and good attack speed stat. It's active deals magic damage, steals 25% of targeted champion's movement speed.

Bloodthirster
It's unique passive can Overheal you and give you a shield that decays over 25 seconds only when your out of combat and the shield absorbs up to 50 - 350 based on your level. Plus it gives a good bit of attack damage 80 to be precise and 20% lifesteal

Black Cleaver
Every auto attack you deal to any enemy champion apply 'cleave' stacks to them and cleaving off their armor by 24% at 6 stacks, it gives health 20 AD and 20% CDR its phage passive Rage also helps to chase down targets.

Edge of Night
It gives an even amount of stats, you can get a spell shield after channeling the item for 4.5 seconds you are allowed to move damage will interupt the channel, after you get a veil that blocks the next enemy ability within the next 5 seconds if the channel interrupted, the item is put on a reduced 5 second cooldown.

Youmuu's Ghostblade
Its unique active gives 20% movement speed that decays over 6 seconds. It isn't a really good item, but i'll get it because it allows me to roam more.

Frozen Mallet
Basic attack slows your target by 40% which lasts for 1.5 seconds, it also refreshes the slow on every hit. It applies a 30% slow for ranged champion instead.

Guinsoo's Rageblade
Basic attacks deal 15 on-hit damage. Basic attacks grant +8% attack speed, +3 attack damage and +4 ability power for 5 seconds. Stacking up to 6 times, granting a total of +48% attack speed, +18 attack damage and +24 ability power. At 6 stacks, you gain Guinsoo's Rage. When you gain Guinsoo's Rage every other basic attacks applies on-hit effects twice.

Ravenous Hydra
Basic attacks deal physical damage to units around your target, basically your auto attacks are AoE instead. The lifesteal applies to the AoEactive and so does the normal AoE basic attacks. When you activate hydra's active, there will be a 'tornado' of damage around you that lasts for about 0.5 seconds (it does not specify how long the AoE lasts around you).

Dead Man's Plate
When you move you'll stack up 'dread-naught' stacks. Once it reaches 100 stacks, you'll get a movement bonus when you auto-attack someone or something they will beslowed and deal bonus damage

Randuin's Omen
It has a unique passive, damage from critical strikes are reduced by 20%. When your get hit by a basic attack it will cripple/slow the target's attack speed by 15% for 1 second. When you activate it, there will be a wave that slows everybody in a radius by 55% for 2 seconds.

Sterak's Gage
Upon taking 400-1800 within 5 seconds, will increase your size and grant an extra 30% additional base damage and a rapidly decaying shield based on 75% of your maximum health.

Spirit Visage
It gives you a unique passive which is one of my favourite passives other than Thornmail of course. The passive is that it gives 30% increased healing from all sources which includes Master Yi's Meditate heal, it also applies to Garen's passive.

Banshee's Veil
Before Banshee's Veil got reworked it used to be a MR item. But after the rework it is now an item that gives AP and MR aswell. It grants a spell shield that blocks the next enemy ability. The shield refreshes after no damage is taken from for 40 seconds.

Banner of Command
When you activate it, it will promote a minion and grants it immunity to magic damage. Basically it screws over mages, or anybody that uses magic damage or in english. Anybody that attacks using AP or spells with an AP ratio can't do damage to the minion that got promoted.

Titanic Hydra
Basic attacks deal 5 bonus on-hit physical damage. Additionally, basic attacks also deal 40 physical damage in a cone to units behind the target.
When activated your next basic attack, you do damage to all targets in a coneis increased to 40 and has a larger cone. It also resets your autoattack timer.

Yasuo
Master Yi counter Yasuo easily. The only thing you need to do is dodge his tornado and your good. If he misses his Q Steel Tempest he won't be able to ult you so he can't have a 20% armor pen bonus. So dodge his Tornado.

Jayce
I faced aganist him before. He is actually quite easy, dodge his E,Q combo by using Alpha Strike on him then you can kill him easily mostly because all his damage comes from his E,Q. But you need to make sure you fight him in the late game stages or when your laner has a lot CC. If not avoid him as he can just 1 shot you.

Amumu
By far one of the easiest matchups. You need to dodge his Q Bandage Toss with your Q Alpha Strike. Then keep autoing him, but when you have your Q up save it just incase he can ult you and stop you in your tracks. So make sure you save your Q Alpha Stirke unless you a absolutely sure he dosen't have his ult.

Camille
She has a shield but you can get rid of it very easily and i mean very easily with your high attack speed stat. When Camille ults you can Alpha Strike onto a minion or anything you can target. It will make Camille's ult go on cooldown not only that when you dodged her ult it not only goes on cooldown absolutely nothing happens. I'm serious.

Garen
Garen The might of Demacia. This is quite an easy matchup, mostly because his ult has a channel of 0.5 seconds if you didn't know. If you do dodge his ult, he just stands there like derping type of standing. Mostly because they won't know how to react but if they can react, you can still kill them mostly because when they are going to click their ult again. You will be done with him, that is if you have enough damage and attack speed.

Darius
This guy, yes this guy is surprisingly easy. No kidding, you can dodge his Q with your Q Alpha Strike to not only deny him from healing it also stops him from getting a stack of his passive. If he does decide to ult you, try to use Meditate to deny his damage output by 70% at max rank or you can dodge it with your Alpha Strike and the same thing will mostly likely happen with the Garen missing his ult.

Dr. Mundo
He is a surprisingly easy matchup, but you need to make sure to fight him only if you have red buff or bloodraizer. Red buff does a burn which makes his healing not as useful if you have the bloodraizer enchantment you actually do 4% of the targets maximum health you will do more healing and damage then he could ever do to you.

Lee Sin
The king of the early game. Keep in mind that I said king instead of god. Mostly because the early game god is Lucian. If he invades you, just pickup the leftovers of your jungle. If you feed you have more reason to pick up the bread crums. But if your just farming try to counter gank him, farm up and get your items. once you have your bloodraizer and [[blade of the ruined king] you will be able to 1v1 him and out sustain him.

Gangplank
Oh BOY. THIS GUY. People say he is broken but he his broken because you get hit by his barrels. His barrels does the moves damage for lord's sake it ignores 40% of the targets armor of course you'll get one-shot. So farm up get bloodraizer and Blade of the Ruined King then you can 1v1 him. You also need to remember to use your Alpha Strike and Meditate to block as much damage from his barrel's as possible.

Kha'Zix
The worst nightmare of a farm jungler, as Kha'Zix has quit a 'fair' amount of damage early game, he can one-shot you in a full combo. So farm up and ward, if your lower health than he is just leave, but if you quite fed and he tries to full combo you. You have two options either sit there and use your Meditate keep in mind you have a 70% damage reduction on the fifth rank. Or use Alpha Strike to dodge his entire burst and kill him because his abilities are all on cooldown.

Aatrox
The lifesteal god, like all the others you can't really outplay him as one could say. So you need to count on your burst by using your Triple Strike. You can execute a Triple Strike by double striking then using your Meditate right after the double strike to perform a triple strike, as that can do a considerable amount of damage and burst.

Evelynn
If she is good you would be screwed in the early game. She might not be the best early game duelist, but if she finds you low health you need to try to run for you life or you'll die either low health or in a full all in with her ult.

Viktor
This guy. Yes this guy. Late game high damage low mobility burst mage. With little utility, basically you need to make sure to dodge his initial burst of his E, Q combo or press W to just screw him over, if you want to 1v1 him. Make sure you have your Ult and have at least your bloodraizer. As Master Yi you have surprising amount of burst with your ‘Triple Strike’ where you can out sustain and out damage Viktor.

Brand
Very easy but if you don’t dodge his W you should be careful of getting hit by his Q, as it will stun you for about 2.5 seconds (I think). But if you dodge his W, you can go in. But if you get hit by his W you need to make sure 100% you dodge his Q.

Annie
Mostly famous for her Flash R burst combo. So make sure you dodge her ult or flash ult or flash Q or flash W by using Alpha Strike using Meditate Is not an option unless she used her stun and missed it. As your meditate will get canceled by her stun, then followed by a full combo. Getting a Hexdrinker early will help, or merc treads.

Jax
After the new build, of hydra jax instead of building lifesteal he builds tank, health and AD. So his 3rd auto ‘combo’ will hit even harder as his W at max rank is about 3 seconds. So he can get 3 hits quickly by stunning you, AA W AA Hydra Proc. To instantly get 3 hits as activating the Hydra resets your auto attack timer

Teemo
Teemo has his blinding dart which blinds you for 2.5 seconds and prevents every single one of your auto attacks to miss for the whole 2.5 seconds, so in order to counter this make sure you go on him, try to save Alpha Strike so that you can either dodge it, or close the gap after you use Meditate to stall out the DoT effect of his Q and auto’s then use your Alpha Strike to go on him. The other alternative is to use your Alpha Strike to dodge his blinding dart.

Irelia
True damage, stuns you if she is lower health than you. You also need to be careful of her Q as it can do a surprising amount of damage to you. Even if it is maxed last, againstt you she would be maxing her E to maximize the amount of damage she can deal back to you. So make sure you waste both her E and W but wasting her E is the best, get your Alpha Strike back in go on her so she can’t stun you.

Fiora
The hardest matchup. In the late game. Her % max health bonus damage and healing by popping a vital is stupidly broken. So you need to make sure you 100% DO NOT STAND IN HER ULT. As the more AD she has to more the AoE team heal is. So when fighting her, Q her Q and W her Q if it hits a vital. If she ults you, use meditate to stall out the amount of time she marks you or when her ult pops use it to stall her ult than go on her, but if you use a triple strike you should be good combined with a Blade of the Ruined King you should do a surprising amount of damage, but its better to play safe.

Kennen
AoE stun, long range poke. High mobility burst mage or assassin. You need to make sure you dodge his Q and W those are the most important things to dodge, or you can use Meditate to negate most of his damage but it is not recommend because if you use meditate when his ult is going to proc it is going to be useless.

Elise
Your worst enemy. In the early game, she has way more burst and damage than you in the early game. Like way more, with her full combo she can kill if she has red buff and your below half health.

Ivern
This guy is a garen on steroids. He shields and has daisy that if he macros correctly can force you into a corner. This guy is so simple i don’t have much to say.
