Thanks for all of the recommendations, it really helps :D although ive tried going dorans blade early on, and the sustain is very minimal. Also, the damage is hardly even worth having. The sustain really comes from pots and it works so efficiently. It just depends on the style of play. I will admit, my early game kog is very weak. It's mid to late game that i pwn people and have them say stuff like "Gotta respect a good kog, man" (this was an actual quote from a game i had recently played). And if i may, finishing boots before bf sword hasent really worked out for me. I'm not sure why, i really think that it's because the only benefits that you receive from completing berserker's greaves is a small attack speed boost and some additional movement speed. Perhaps if you try out my method you can see where I'm coming from, LiLStormcloaK (love the name btw, stormcloaks ftw).

The problem of going straight B.F sword is that laning is extremely weak and you will most likely get bullyed hard, harder than usual. You'll miss more cs by straight buying unlesss your ahead, which is quite unlikely for a Kog'Maw to do. The cheap cost efficient items are focused on the ability to farm for the late game.

Consider Doran's Blade and Vampiric Scepter for some sustain in lane, and i recommend fnishing boots before getting B. F. Sword.

I would say that this guide could use a little more detail. Your current sections are fine, but I would add a few sections such as situational items, skills, and skilling order. Possibly even optional runes as well. All of these would greatly benefit the guide, as this would help with the first comment since you could add Guardian Angel in their as long as other items which you have used and find are also useful for Kog'Maw. Overall, what you have here is a nice start, so I'll give you a +1.

Also, if you have the time, come check out my Jax guide :)

Nice guide +1, I do suggest you build a guardian angel tough. Can you check out my volibear guide as well?
