WIth your Q viego Thrust his blade forward hitting an enemy if they are within range.
With your W Viego pulls his hand back chargin up a attack if the attack connects with an enemy they are then stunned and open for an attack.
With your E viego launches black mist. If this black mist hits any terrain/tower (you should aim for terrain always) then it forms a path that Viego can travel through undetected. Please note that if you use any ability or attack anything you will be detected by the enemy plan accordingly.
Finally. Youre R. The Heart breaker move Viego teleports to a nearby enemy and attacks. When the attack hits the ability causes other nearby enemiesto be knocked away a short distance. PLease note that this ability causes more damage the lower the enemy champion is in health.

A leash isnt always needed just really depends on if you want to clear your jg fast it is all preference.
Do not try to solo any fights you will lose. Viego will take all the damage and do none in return causing your death and a fed enemy. If you want to fight early on make sure there is atleast one other team mate with a stunning ability so you can send the enemy to stunville with your W.
Once you have your Ravenous Hydra you can engage in solo combat and it all comes down to your knowledge on your own abilities and the enemy champions abilities
