Who I am and why you should be listening to me

For all those people out there that enjoy playing LoL competitively and want to know if I am a competitive player, YES I am. Feel free to look at my profile on this site or in LoL. My name is The Skilled Noob. I used to play Jax but now I'm addicted to Nasus because he's a boss.

Runez

Well, Nasus is an AD off-tank. So, it's sort of obvious why I use what I use.

There are some things you might have noticed. I take Greed instead of Cripple. I go 2/3 Ardor and 3/3 Harden Skin.

Now, you can take Cripple instead of Greed and go 3/3 Ardor and 2/3 Harden Skin. Little things like this comes down to personal preference. I'm still debating with myself which one I would rather have, while at the same time trying to tell myself that it doesn't really matter that much.

Spells

Exhaust can be used offensively and defensively, and it IS effective.
Ghost + trinity force = 1 fast puppy

If you choose Heal instead, good luck with that. Speaking of Heal, saw a Twitch with Heal in a game today, he fed 2 kills early game and didn't help me at all while I tried and failed to 1v2 top lane. So yeah, when a team mate has heal, you know it's going to be a long game. Sorry for using this space to rant, but there isn't much to talk about here.

Items

This is my favorite part.

As you can see, you will start off with a Doran's Shield. Get your gold generation items and keep up the last hits. You'll have finished Trinity Force after the next time you blink.

After that, depending on enemy team composition, you gotta get defensive stuff.
Here are my recommendations:

Sunfire Cape
Warmog's Armor
Banshee's Veil
Guardian Angel
Atma's Impaler
Mercury's Treads
Ninja Tabi
Force of Nature
Madred's Bloodrazor
Thornmail
Aegis of Legion
Wit's End

So for example if the enemy team decided to be cute and go 5 mage team composition, I'd have (END GAME) Mercury Treads, Trinity Force, Banshee's Veil, Force of Nature, Wit's End, and Warmog's Armor.
So yeah if you give a **** or two about what I think makes a good defense / tanky dps item, don't get anything I didn't mention.

Nasus

As Nasus, you either go top lane by yourself or bot lane with a support. It is your responsibility to tank **** and do damage and **** yeah..
I prefer being bot lane with a support, because Nasus is prone to being denied in a 1v1 early game.

Warning: Don't get ahead of yourself, DON'T buy something like an infinity edge, Nasus isn't a carry. Yeah, I bought IE in a recent game, but now I've come to the conclusion that Nasus shouldn't have any pure damage items.
