Well, you wanna know why you'd play Nasus? Nasus is a very fun champ if you like to do damage, yet be able to take some punishment. His 'q' skill makes him great for this. With this build you'll do massive ammounts of damage late game and be a damn good tank!
As Nasus you a actually wanna jump in the middle of the enemy team, turn on your ultimate and destroy the squishies.
Just keep in mind when you play Nasus, you are VERY dependant on your farming early game!
Q = Siphoning strike, a GREAT skill wich deals a basic ammount of damage, but every time you last hit a minion with it, the skill gains 3 extra bonus damage, permanent! It's VERY important to max this first and use it to last hit as much as possible! If you can get a blue buff, take it, the cdr will make you able to last hit more!
W = Wither, a very usefull skill when fighting dps champions or when chasing, it slows your enemy, in movement speed and attack speed!
E= Spirit fire, this skill creates a circle on the ground wich will deal damage to units going through it, and dealing a bit of damage straight away when used. I don't find this a usefull skill for Nasus, yes you can kill minions with it but you wanna kill the minions with you Q to get that extra damage!
R= Hit ultimate is very usefull, it gives him bonus health and it deals damage to nearby enemies each second, very usefull when you're in a teamfight, or when someone wants to dive you!
Okay, for runes I took some health runes, that will make you stay in your lane longer early game, the rest of your runes are pure TANK runes, you don't need runes for extra damage, if you farm well, you'll have quiet some damage!:D
Masteries; always a hard choise for Nasus if you ask me, do you want that extra damage?
Or do you prefer utility? I took mostly defensive masteries, again, this will make you very depenndant on your early game farming.
I took 1 point in offense, purely for the debuff you get when you use exhaust on someone, it'll make your q do even more damage! And wither + exhaust = dead.
19 points in defensive... you might find this unnessecairy as we have all those runes already, but it really does make a difference!
Utility, longer jungle buffs are great on Nasus, red to slow enemy champions even more and blue for the cdr, and some extra regeneration for in lane
I personally like to take exhaust and teleport, as you'll be soloing top teleport is nice to get back to lane when you have backed off or if you died, but try not to use it too much, it's better to use it when there's a teamfight upcoming on the other side of the map!
I don't think other spells are really usefull on Nasus,
flash is viable but ignite, it deals just as much damage as 1 Q,
Clairity/heal Your masteries should provide you with that
Any other spell just isn't usefull in my eyes.
I start of with a regrowth pendant and a health potion, those should give you enough health do get throught the first 10-20 minutes of the game, in that time all you wanan do is farm your q! :D
next up; Merc Treads, just great item overall, tenacity & movement speed!
This item is something you can choose to get, glacial shroud if the enemy team is very ad based, if they have more ap take a negatron cloak instead and get the glacial shroud after your banshee's :)
Sheen is a very good item on Nasus as it'll double the damage you do with your q, wich deals a lot of damage already!
Atmas impaler, you might wanna take this as the last item, but it is very usefull! If you wanna become more tankie, or want to have more HP, get a warmogs instead
Next up banshee's / Glacial shroud, depends what you took before ^^
Lich bane is very usefull, extra mana and armor!
Then last, Guardian Angel, just a great item overal, Armour, MR and it'll make you revivable :3
