The reason i max out siphoning strike first it because its his main ability in this build. followed up with his slow for the kills and escape (pffft when you need it). If you are farming well or are solo just get your spirit fire up a couple of levels to get some creep kills.

These two are the best for my play style, but choose what ever you wish. Ghost and exhaust work well also.

Runes can vary depending on your favourite play styles and techniques. This is what i used with many of my carries and have found that it works well with nasus.the attack speed and armour pene help when odds are against you to keep that lifesteal rolling in.

these masteries have proven the most successful in my many games as nasus. the like increase in armour is just that little bit helpful in early game. and you know the story with the offensive ones.
