Threats to Ashe with this build
|Vayne||Shouldnt be such a hard lane as long as you poke when she tries to cs because you have longer range and try poke with w.|
Ashe is one of the champions where you should learn to master because it teaches you how to kite and harass. After reading this guide, you will have a much better understanding of this champion and realize the potential. Good luck.
For masteries it should be 18 in freoicty and 12 in cunning. 5 into fury, 1 into feast, 5 into natural talent, 1 in Oppressor, 5 in battering blows and 1 into fervor of battle or sustain for Wardlords bloodlust. For cunning, 5 into savagery, 1 for cookie, 5 in merciless and 1 in dangerous game.
Everythings standard for adc unless you want extra lifesteal or more damage.
Basically every Ashe build should contain Essence Reaver because it gives a 30% cdr and it restores your mana if you crit. So that means you can keep spamming w to poke and farm and keep your e charged to provide your team some vision. Your ulti will be even off cooldown each team fight because of the 30% cdr and if you get the cdr boots you basiclly maxed out on cdr because it maxes at 40% or get blue buff.
The next item which is crucial is Runaan's Hurrican due to its passive which provides you 2 extra 'autos' which also gives you mana on crit and with your q you have extra 4 autos, so each arrow you fire, you get extra 2 for each.
The 3rd item you should get is your Berserker's Greaves because it gives 35% extra atk speed which is a lot and gives you movement which helps you massively if youre chasing and kiting.
Depending on the enemy team comp your 4th item should be defensive or if feel like your team can peel for you well enough you can try to go for Infinity Edge because it increases your crit chance by 20% and crit damage by 250%. At a time like this you would have about 70% which is a very high chance. At this stage if you land an ulti they are basically dead because your crits going to be pretty crazy.
5th item should be a defensive item, if the other team has heavy ability power, you can try to go for a Maw of Malmortius because it sucks up 300 + 1 per bonus magic resistance for 5 seconds and gives you extra 10% spell vamp and 10% life steal until you leave combat.
Your final item should be a guardians angel because you want to be able to come back to fight if the other team manages to burst you down, you will be able to revive and come back to take revenge. At this stage your team will usually be looking to protect you just in case you die again. If you don't feel like you should get guardians angel getting a Mercurial Scimitar is also a good choice because if you get cc'ed, you can use this quickly and ulti and w to slow and run away successfully.
You can get w again at level 3, but i like to get e level 3 to just check on the jungler if hes up to some cheeky business.
Ranger's Focus (q)
This skill is one of the key's to Ashe's full potential. Having this skill ready is crucial because if the other team is planning on engaging, you would want the skill to be ready or on 3 stacks because if it isn't you are going to Auto Attack a few times and not do as much damage. As the game progresses, your items will keep improving, resulting in more damage, attack speed etc so your q gets charged up in a few seconds. This skill is usually maxed second because Volley is more important to obtain cs and to keep up pressure or to minimize pressure from other team.
This skill is used mainly for poking and cs'ing. If other lane is pressuring and trying to zone you out, this skill is useful for getting cs where you cant go in and cs, just make sure that you try and not use it on the full wave because it can push it and youre going to be in more trouble if youre further away from your tower. This skill is usually maxed first because cost is stable and the cooldown gets decreased by 2 seconds for each skill points which makes it wise to max it first. This skill is also great in team fights, having the slow added to each arrow makes it hard for the enemy team to get onto you but also escape.
This skill isn't really that useful mainly because it only recharges faster. The range and everything is stable and in the early game this isn't really that useful because why would you want vision more consistently than applying pressure on the lane. Skill is maxed last because not all that useful.
Enchanted Crystal Arrow (r)
Well following every Moba game, the ultimate (r) is usually maxed first whenever you reach levels 6,11 and 16. This skill gives you a ranged ulti which slows and stuns the first champion that it comes contact with. The longer the arrow travels means the longer the stun and caps at 3.5 seconds. You would want to use this skill when you know you can not win a fight to disengage or the other way around. So when you think you can the kill potential, ping your support to go in and ulti. Before you engage, make sure that you have like 3 or 4 stacks on your q ready to activate when the other bot gets stunned. This also makes a good skill to have because if your jungler don't have a cc skill this is the perfect skill to make a gank successful. Only thing you need to look out for is that if your'e versing like a champion that can negate this spell on the adc like Braum's Unbreakable (e) make sure they are far apart or the shield is on cool down or Sivir try to burn the Spell Shield (e) before you go in or else its a waste.
Farming / Laning
If you want to do good mid/late game, you'll generally want to get an early lead. There is 2 play styles, passive and aggressive. If you're passive you usually want to be able to sustain in lane, not take too much damage and try not to miss any cs. If you're aggressive, you are usually poke and try to zone the other lane out so that they miss out on cs. If you have an aggressive support like Leona I recommend to push the lane and try to reach level 2 as soon as possible because this means that you can engage and try to burn some summoner spells or even get first blood. If you're losing lane, then you should try to freeze the lane closer to your tower so that you can safely escape even if they try to engage onto you. Usually if you want to play passive, when you go back the first time you would want to buy the Cull so that you can get extra 150 gold which equals to about 11 minions. If aggresive just get a B. F. Sword or Caulfield's Warhammer.
Pros / Cons
- Shred whoever she wants
- Good engager with r / disengage with r
- Provide vision with no risk
- Good Crowd Control
- Incredible in team fights
- Good chaser / good escape with all her frost
- Great wave clear / Aoe with her passive and runnans
- Very poor mobility
- Not strong until some items come out ( Runaan's Hurricane, Essence Reaver
- Need the team to peel for you
- Hard to make plays by yourself
As an adc you must be able to carry your team. You need to be able to position yourself carefully according to how the enemy team plays. You need to position yourself behind your team in order for them to peel for you and tank the damage the other teams trying to dish out. You want to be able to try and focus down the squishies before moving onto the tanks. If someone from the other manages to slip out and get right next to you, you will need to ulti him and try and kill him, if you can't then your team will be able to try and finish him off. If no one on your team is able to kill the tanks then lucky you are their with your Ranger's Focus and Lord Dominik's Regards no one can stand in your way. SO basically, your team helps you to cc them down and peel and all you need to do is to be able to kill their backline and frontline.
So basically Ashe is an adc that relies on the team to help peel and cc. If Ashe receives enough peel everyones going be melted straight away with her Ranger's Focus active and some armour penetration items. If the team comp doesen't have much peel then you will have to be extremely safe because if you die and no one else can kill the tanks than thats pretty much gg.
