This is my guide to nuke with ryze.

He is the best ap nuker you have in game if you know how to build and play with him.

Also this is not a guid for novices, i intend to do a more advanced guide to all that allready know this champion so i'm going to skip some parts.

This runes are to maximize the early game harassement, in order to be able to not only harass the enemy but also to get the first blood.

With his passive and the cdr runes and masteries, ryze will only need a blue buff to get the cd cap of 40% cdr , so no need for cdr items.

I rather go with ghost and ignite to chase the enemy and to finish them off in case they try to run away, but flash is also a good sumoner spell to take with him.

As you can see, start with spell flux for harassment and then priorityse overload for massive damage.

Harass with the spell flux, and use overload to nuke the champions.

at higher levels the combo should be: rune prison, spell flux, overload (and most likely they are dead)

Start with the mana crystal, 1 hp potion and 1 mana potion.

Get tear of the goddess as soon as possible in order to start increasing your mana pool.

After that boots and start building your rod of ages, starting by the catalyst.

After the RoA, build the archangel's and the rabadons and the hourglass. Now you will be able to nuke them down easly and fast.

For the last item just get whatever you think you need, like a will of the ancients or an abyssal scepter.
