This guide makes no sense. You say this is a good guide for multiple mid champs, yet I don't think it's a good build for ANY mid champs. AD marks for AA harass and last hitting? After level 4, you don't want to be using your AA's to harass in 90% of matchups. I just don't get it. Rabadons very 1st item? no magic pen early, not viable to me.

I realize this fact, however, that time spent spamming it could be spent invading, or Doing something else, and I usually don't want a voidling on my first spell, as I don't get much poke level 1, and by the time I've used spells 3 times, I'm about level 2, and can use my Q and E and the voidling damage while the enemy is still hopefully level 1. I also love the sheer utility for level 1 farming, which helps. Regarding Items, i do enjoy grabbing haunting for the extra magic pen it gives, and the recent change regarding the way magic pen was calculated. the item does give health, as well as some AP, as for zhonya's, i dont grab it very much, as it doesnt work super well with any of malz's skills, like it would Either fiddle's or Morg's Ult.

Consider picking up Call of the Void at level 1. You can spam it at the fountain to get some charges. Then on your next spell you can proc Summon Voidling for free level 1 harass.

Also, consider switching out Haunting Guise for a larger AP item. More AP = even more AP increased from Rabadon's Deathcap. A optimal option would be Zhonya's Hourglass.
