max E and spam it on the opposing champion whenever you intend to trade since the true damage will almost instantly give you the upper hand in most trades, you can follow up with undertow and autoattacks to chase down opponents if you have the chance to kill them and with your e's low cooldown at upper ranks you can trade to this point of chasing with axes easily unless they build incredably tanky.

hit R and attempt to either zone the enemy ADC and APC with your raw unkillability and flat damage or peel for your carries with your tank killing true damage and slow from repeated undertows.
