Welcome to your new Ornn god guide... I have 3 builds on this guide so you can plan against your top laner. I do not mention specific champions or difficulty because they honestly don't matter. This guide will walk you through all 3 types of laners you will face and how to beat them.

BAN DARIUS EVERY SINGLE GAME. YOU DO NOT WANT TO FACE HIM!!!

You wanna take teleport every single lane because you can abuse making money and staying ahead in lane. The experience and money will keep you on a healthy fighting spot all game.

You need flash in case you get ganked or get caught out by an agressive top laner early game. Late game you will probably use it to catch out an overextended ADC.

Ignite works good against Tank Lanes since they will respect you early game and let you free farm and you will always come out ahead. If you get ganked make sure to use Ignite and focus down the Jungler first.

Grasp of the Undying: This rune is amazing for sustaining in duels and getting some extra stats. The more health you have the more damage your W will do.

Font of Life: This will work great on lanes where you can't force someone out of lane, especially duelers. The best part about this rune is that it works great with your ultimate on teamfights where you just ram in (get it? xD) and your teammates heal you.

Demolition: This rune works against Tank Lanes because you will always be able to bully them out of lane.

Iron Skin: This rune simply depends who you're facing. If it's a heavy AD laner take it, else take Conditioning.

Conditioning: Best rune in slot since you get extra tanky stats at the expense of a weaker early lane. Since you can build items in lane you can either take this or Iron Skin.

Overgrowth: You get free HP for staying in lane. Great vs tanky laners.

Second Wind: This is a great way to sustain when facing duelers or poke lane champions since you won't be bullied out of lane so easily.

Zombie Ward: You don't want to get caught out and this is the best rune to help you with that since Ghost Poro resets too often in top lane.

Cheap Shot: It has a 4s cooldown and works great to deal some extra damage that doesn't require you to E forward.

Sudden Impact: You will prefer to take this rune against Poke Lanes because they will be squishy and you are easily able to stay on top of them to finish them off. This will also work better against Tank Lanes because you will have long extended fights where you autoattack a lot.

Ravenous Hunter: This rune will work great with your W giving you both a big shield and a lot of HP in teamfights. Only take this against Poke Lanes to sustain better in lane or Tank Lanes to improve your fighting potential in long fights.

The items are all standard stuff for Ornn.

Abyssal Mask: Best item for Ornn that gives you crazy sustain and damage on your W.

Iceborn Gauntlet: This item will give you a lot of chasing and dueling potential because the ram is slow moving.

Ninja Tabi / Sorcerer's Shoes: Ninja Tabi works better against Duel Lanes so they can't burst you and your sustained damage is better. Sorcerer's Shoes will shred tanks and squishys. Never get Mercury's, your W disables CC abilities on you.

Warmog's: This item will make you have strong shields for fights. Since you have a lot of sustain mid to late game you will never have to back once you build this item. The passive effect will affect you by the time you buy this item.

Thornmail: This item will help you against both Duel champions and ADCs to reduce their healing. You will be able to 1v1 almost anyone after completing this item.

Sunfire Cape: Extra sustain damage for the late game fights. The damage from it combined with Abyssal Mask is more that people give it credit for.

Liandry's Torment: This item will synergize great with your Sorcerer's Shoes and give you great Assassination potential over squishy targets. Besides, since most squishy targets won't be building Magic Resist you will basically deal true damage to them. Don't underestimate Ornn's damage. Only build this when you build Sorcerer's Shoes.

Pretty standard stuff too. Only take Q first on Poke Lanes so you can farm from a distance until you get your full combo.

Ornn has some mana issues early game so you wanna spare spamming abilities until you complete Catalyst. Simply autoattack and Q or W to last hit cannon minions or to avoid trading. You are not an early champion.

• Fast clearing late game

Cons:

• Weak early game
• Slow moving
• Passive farming early game

Ornn is a great champion to climb the ladder after a few games in Normals. He is very hard to deal against because of the amount of sustain he has. You can easily beat any top laner (except Darius) by waiting until you can buy some in lane items. After you get a lead in items all lanes become easy because they will never catch up since you can spend gold easily. Teamfighting is Ornn's strongest potential since his ram starts from far away and slows ADCs making the rebounce easier to land. Brittle is OP and your enemies will not expect the amount of damage you do as the game goes on.
