Using Red Smite

When you get red smite, you want to use it on champions to reduce their damage when they trade with you. If you see 2 people coming in to tank you. make sure to smite the one that does more damage so he will deal less damage, it might save your life.
Gromp and golems are great smite buffs for shyvana. She has high attack speed and the golem buff will give you some CC. If you are vs someone ranged, group is great because of the damage dealt to attackers.

Early game

What you want to do early game is easy. Do nothing but farm. If you counter the top lane just freeze the lane if you are stronger and you can get easy CS while denying it from him.

With shyvana you want to get farm as fast as possible because then you will get your tank items before the enemy gets armour pen. then you just run into them and they all die :P (not really tho, but u are super tanky and dmgy)

Midgame/ LVL 8

By the time you are level 8 you should have your cinder hulk. At this point it gets a bit trickier but same principle. FARM. no more freezing, as soon as a wake comes into lane use E , W and Q to kill the wave as quick as possible. After that you have 20 seconds to go into enemy jungle or yours and clear a camp or 2. make sure you get back to lane to clear the next was ASAP. If you are going into enemy bluebuff jungle you should smite wolves so you can see if enemy jungler is trying to farm or coming to gank.

Mid/Lategame

in the midge the enemy laner might leave lane to go team fight or take dragon. Ignore it, you have TP. Push the turrets as fast as possible. Force them to come back to lane, if they fight at dragon TP in. after the fight or if you die, just back and go strait back into lane and keep pushing. When there are no mins to attack the turret go into the jungle and keep farming. You should be full build at about 25mins if you do this perfectly.

Because shyvana is a beast it will take more than 1 person to stop shyvana pushing. when 2 or 3 or 5 people come to kill you make sure your team are ready to push another lane. Your job at that point is to stay alive as long as possible and drag the enemy away from your team so they can push.

If they only send one person to you, tell your team not to let fights happen unless they are sure they can win and you will be able to keep pushing your tower slowly until they have to send more people to attack you.

It is the same with dragon or baron. if your team wants dragon, just keep pushing top and your either get the dragon or the tower. GG. rinse and repeat.

For baron same thing, just push bot lane. u want to be as far from the team as possible. The only time you should group with your team to do baron is if all the inhibitors are dead.
