I will post my vids asap, which will display what you just mentioned. I am currently editing them. So far i managed to get on video an annie mid and another Ap Yi build which i got denied early on.
And meditate 3 times every minute = full health = very hard to beat. Yes 30 ad is a lot but as you said yi is very fragile. You must assess your opponent and enemy jungler before picking wuju at 4 or 8 level. Lots of times i get towerdived at lvl5-6 and i manage to kill one or both heroes with meditate lvl2. Thats why a guide is hard to write. There is always adaptation to the enemy strategy and sometimes you must also change tactics to win.
Nice debate by the way. If you like we can create a video which you can show either why AP YI is awful, or great depending on the result. Choose your fav mid hero :)
Yes at 40% its around 20 sec but even that is a long *** time for a skill it can almost be seen as an other ult rather then an other skill.
I don't play enought AP Yi to actualy tell if its a good idea but I was thinking: wouldn't hourglass be good? As in leap in, get focus hourglass +/or meditate. I was thinking that being able to do this rambo lure for the team as AP yi more often could be worth the try. What do you think?
If you focus on wuju then AD is the way to go :) I know meditation doesnt look good till you get tower dived! Wuju wont save you there.
I know the whole ap yi thing sounds ridiculous if you think about it, till you see it. I should upload a video or something to make the first 10 mins of gameplay clear, or the whole ap yi thing more ridiculous!
Still give it a try on mid and let me know if it works for you :) i have given your guide a go and it works OFC. Especially when jungling. Yi is so much fun
As a rule I pick wuju style based on my opponent (at summoner lvl 4).
I dont use the extra 15 damage to harass because i dont get up personal unless that is to secure my kill. When that happens that extra damage wont matter.
