Hey, everyone! I'm asmrtoelicks and I've been playing League for about 3 years now. I started hard-stuck in silver/gold as a mid main. I couldn't climb and it did not feel good at all. I tried each lane to see what style fit me the best and I still enjoyed mid but I also really liked support. It was the LAST role I'd ever want to go (kind've tied with JG) because I felt like every single game was completely blamed on JG and support. Once I got to playing support, I realized how much potential the role has and how substantial plays CAN be as a support. Now, I still didn't like the fact that unfortunately if my team isn't doing well I don't have enough income to be a true "carry". Overtime, I became way more aggressive and ended up feeding. Like... A lot... So, I started playing SUPER defensive champs that are just shield-bots or heal-bots and I still felt like I wasn't really doing anything. I wanted to play champs that were truly the best of all worlds. Healing/shielding, doing damage, enabling my team, able to roam well, objective control, and ability to SURVIVE. I picked up very specific champs for this such as Soraka, Nami, and Karma. They are by far my favorite champs to play and the styles in which I play them seem to work well. By the end of season 2020, I had hit Platinum 3 and I was so happy! I felt like my hard work was really paying off. Now, I did get a coach and I spent like 60% of my life on League.... and then another 20% watching videos and asking for advice and vod reviews... SO IT BETTER HAVE WORKED! By the end of season 2021, I was Diamond 3 and NOW I am starting this season off strong and have pushed to Diamond 4 already. I'm hoping to keep pushing and (fingers crossed) I can reach Diamond 2 or higher this season! Very small steps, though.
