What I am saying is: In ranked games, most of the time, if your team is any decent, they will be guarding you, and you will be out of reach. So, you want to build full dmg. But late game, you want to build GA[guardian angel] so you have maximum DMG output, GA is a good defense item that doesnt take up room.

Ranged AD routes: (Learning when to build doran's blades is another good factor)
Doran's Blade/berserker grieves/BT/PD/IE or Last whisper[they have a lot of armor, get this]/IE or Last Whisper(which ever you didn't buy) then sell dorans for GA.

Result: Berserker Grieves/The Bloodthirster/Phantom Dancer/Last Whisper/Infinity Edge/Guardian Angel Rushing BT or IE depends on situation. since going IE route you just need a vamp scepter and you are good to go. Then there is the wriggles lantern route, thats if you dont have a lane sustain support.

Oh! Okay, I see what you mean. Everything is just so situational I get confused at times is all. They way you build makes sense though, and I've started changing my build by quite a bit. I always do get the vamp scepter first. I really do like going for sustainability early game, mainly because I like to farm for a while before getting really aggressive. I've started using Berserker Grieves and I like them a lot, but at times I'll stick with Merc Treads because of the tenacity factor. I now always try to go Blood Thirster, Last Whisper, And GA. It took me a while to realize that I'm not supposed to be a tank and that it's okay to be glassy so long as I'm careful.

only one question. in the part of "Interchangeable Items" you suggest lich bane, while ur building ad. thats a waste of money :/

In most cases it is a waste of money, but it has worked for me the few times that I've gone that route. I do plan on editing this build en masse now that I have a ton of awesome input! A lot of the items are changing and the skill set is changing a little bit. Either way, thank you both for helping crit my build :] It has helped me a lot in the past few games.

Ok. This build's weakness is that you are too much on the tanky side. The ranged ad is supposed to be quite glassy aside from something like 1 banshees or 1 guardian angel. For rank I mean. For solo queue norm games, tanky dps reigns. I know this because I play jungle mf as a tanky dps, its quite effective. However, when late game hits, that vayne is going to tear your team up.

As I'm getting into the higher levels I have been starting to see that the build itself has a lot of room for improvement. I haven't played ranked, but eventually I would like to become competitive. Tanks DPS is really fun, but would you say I'd be more effective if I replaced Frozen Heart with Infinity Edge? I'm thinking of using something else other than Trinity Force as well, but it's still an item I'm fond of. Again, I really do appreciate the help :] I really do want to learn how to be one of the best Fortunes out there.
