So you might be asking yourself, why listen to someone i have never ever heard of?

(Like what the hell kind of name is Akaraito, and people actually play on OCE?)

The answer to that question is simple enough, like me, you probably love riven and what to get better at her. While this doesnt mean much coming from a Riven main only in silver, i still have played her for 3 to 4 years now and have picked up some techniques so if you are interested, please read on.

Pros

- Can carry if ahead
- Does not put you out of the game if behind
- Riven is badass

- Combos and wallhops require constant practice
- Considered a toxic player
- Crimson Elite skin

When it comes to runes, there are a few options to go with, i run electrocute because the burst it brings with the lethality build is really satisfying, though other viable paths are press the attack which is only really viable if you can pull of the fast combo and also running sorcery or resolve seems also viable but i have not tested those yet.

Pretty simple enough, TP and Flash for most lanes and ignite when needed or if you are not very good with TP roams and do not use the spell effectively. Also very important, flash must be on D or you will lose the game.

Riven's early game depends on her matchup and jungle, lanes such as Darius or Gnar, Going all in at level 3 usually works in your favour since she out trades them both. (If you are not confident in doing this, just dont) Other matchups such as Renekton or trundle it would probably be best to try and farm to the best of your ability and look to make plays around the map with TP.

Depending on how the Early game goes, I find that Riven either becomes instrumental in taking down the enemy carries as fast as possible, or if you fell behind in lane and are not strong enough, she can become a brick wall stopping anyone from touching your carries.
