Riven is a high burst champion with a lot of gap closers. This allows her to be a very effective bully in lane against a good amount of top laners. Even thought the current meta is a tanky top lane, Riven has a lot to offer to the team such as AOE damage, two forms of CC, and her skills are effective to disengage. As Riven is very strong, she is also very fun to play; one of the most fun IMO. She is easy to play, but it takes a lot of time and effort to master use Riven at her full potential.
