Really hard match ups, i suggest you perma ban it, if you for some reason dont then 1- cry 2- Play super aggresive levels 1 and 2 your only opening early game 3- If you dont do that then just farm whole game until you reach level 11 with 2 items

PRECISION
|
Conqueror Is the best rune option for Riven. She can stack it really fast with her abilities, she gets access to sustain which works really good, she also gets bonus ad and all her abilities scale with ad so she gets a lot of bonus damage, The other options just doesnt fit Riven as well, Riven can get Press the Attack really fast but it doesnt provide her the sustain or bonus ad or healing Conqueror provides, Fleet Footwork gives her sustain but no damage, and lethal tempo just gives her nothing, Riven works with attack speed, but the attack speed from alacrity is enought.

Triumph is the way to go, Overheal isnt good enought,you dont have any sustain to stack it anyway,and Presence of Mind just doesnt work because Riven has no mana ;D,triumph works best because you get a lot of healing and gold in teamfights and when you 1v2 the enemy jungler.

Riven can take every rune actually, Legend: Alacrity is the best option because it helps Riven to do her combos easier and faster, Legend: Tenacity is also a good option vs a lot of cc, Legend: Bloodline is the least usefull option it can work tho.
|
|
Coup de Grace and Last Stand, Last Stand is the standart choise, Riven prefers extended fights and she will be low most of the times also with her sustain from Conqueror and from her items she will be around there 40% hp so she can use last stands damage well, Coup de Grace works with the damage builds.

SORCERY
|
Riven, with the changes to transcendensce it gives ability haste and and a cooldown reset when you get a kill. Celerity cant work with Riven because she doesnt have any movespeed ability or any on her build, Absolute Focus doesnt work either, Riven prefers long fights and she will get low, making Absolute Focus useless

Gathering Storm is the best option because Riven is a scaling champion and the bonus ad can be really usefull because as i mentioned earlier Riven abilities all scale of from ad.

Game phases

Riven can play the early laning phase is by playing safe until she reaches level 3,from then she can look for short trades or long tradesx An other way is just ignoring completly your enemy opponent and farm, as Riven you outscale most champs in the game, so there is nothing wrong with just farmingx A third way Riven can play the lane is by playing super aggresive, you can cheese level 1 in the bushes with your q, or just pushing off the wave your enemy[/center] |
Riven is starting to become strong, especially if she is ahead, you moslty want to push sidelanes and get jungle camps to get you even ahead, do not aram mid, you will lose a lot for no reward, just sidelane, do not push if you dont have vision, buy wards and place them in key spots, use your tp to join a teamfight, but only if you see an opportunity, if not just push and you will get extremely ahead, if you are behind just focus on farming and be mindfull of pushing[/center] |
Flash on, and jump on them with a Valor+ Blade of the Exile+ Flash, that would do the job and you will be right on them ready to kill them, but use that combo late game only if you can do it on 3 people, no less
