Hello everyone, I am putting some simple instructions about how to play ryze for my friend so please don't expect this one to be as detailed asmy ashe guide. Ok, Let's get started!

What is Ryze?

Ryze is an mp/ap nuker, and one of the best mage carry in the game. So be a good carry and stay behind your tanks and tougher characters.

9/0/21 mastery
Standard caster runes setup: Magic pen. Marks
Mp per 5 Seals or defensive Seals (dodge/hp)
CDR Glyph or Ap per level Glyph (both not recommanded)
Since Ryze was revamped to scale off Mp for his first and second skill, I chose to use both flat Mp Glyphs and Quients to give ryze's Q a boost early game.

Get W first if you play more passive like I do, but get Q first if you plan to do a bit more harassing. Though I am strongly against harassing people on ryze early as it causes serever mana starvation and rarely does it result in a kill.
After level 8, get W to level 2 for a longer snare.

Skill order: R>Q>E>W

Early Game (level 1-6): If you are getting W first, tell your laning partner so you guys don't rush into a level one fights. As this ryze has no doran's item or Q, you will most likely lose.
Instead play passively and last hit, counter push by auto attacking if your opponents are pushing you lane. Always try to snare that cocky harassing opponent onto tower damage, that's a sure kill at level 1-3. At level 4, you should have your full arsenal of Q, W, and E. They cooldown(CD) at this point are quite high, however the basic Q, W, E, Q combo can be pulled off and it packs a punch with mp runes. Q, W, E, Q used in sync with your ultimate skills will be your main damage burst through out the game.

Mid Game: Too lazy and late, gonna let you figure this one out yourself buddy. LOL GL!
Hints: Spam your skills in team fights as much as possible. Banshee's and Frozen Heart's build order should consider the other team's character make up. FAST FINGERS!
