Summoner's spells can be changed, the best is to keep flash, for chasing and escaping.
Teleport can be changed into exhaust, ghost or clarity.



First buy Sapphire Crystal because you begin with a small amount of mana, the more mana the more spells, the more damage.
after that buy sorcerer's shoes.
Rod of ages should be used by all ryze-players. it gives you a lot more health, mana and AP, it helps you survive longer.

Only buy mejai's soulstealer if you make kills often, else you should already begin stacking Archangel.

Why am i stacking AA? because it gives you a huge amount of mana that gives your first spell huge damage, around 3500-4000 mana you do like 1200-1300 damage without your ultimate. It also gives you 45 abilitypower and another 3% of your total mana turns into AP, that's where it's all about, the stacking of the mana and the 3% of total mana into AP. After you have all items and 20 stacks with MS you should have something about 3500 mana and around 460-500 AP, you are dealing huge amounts of damage. ;)
